I would say that the "buffs" that Navia received from Lunar Crystalize(aside from not picking up non-existent shards) has to do with how much Navia can apply Crystalize.
As you need to proc Lunar Crystalize 3 times for the 3 wards created to deal damage.
So of Navia has a high Crystalize proc rate, Lunar Crystalize is a decent buff to her damage.
