Venti, Durin, Bennett, Fischl would be pretty good, once you get all to lvl 70 and do their Witch mini quests.
Otherwise, plenty of options, but do you have anyone in mind you particularly like?

My favs would prolly be Keqing, Xingqiu, YaoYao(mostly for her heals lol), Lan Yan, Fischl, Venti, Kaveh, Tighnari, Bennett, gaming, Lynnette, Ororon, Laya

Tighnari, Fischl, Collei/Yao Yao and someone who boosts EM or some shielder/healer who doesn't affect Tighnaris reactions (Lan Yan or Jean maybe)
I also highly recommend leveling Xilonen, because she is one of the best res shredders/healers and she can be used in many pyro/hydro/electro teams

Do the Witch Homework quests for Durin, Venti, Fischl, Sucrose (if you don’t have her pick her from the selector), and Mona. This will unlock their buffs that they need to be good.
Venti has a good DPS team with Durin/Bennett/Faruzan (exchangeable with Fischl).
But you also have Chevreuse and that means you can make the best overload core with Fischl/Durin/Chevreuse, which will carry basically any electro/pyro DPS (except Mavuika who wants either Ororon or Iansan for her burst uptime; they’d replace Fischl here).
You can also run hyperbloom with Shinobu/Xingqiu/dendro/flex. Try to avoid Tighnari in this team as he does better in spread (and he can’t trigger Xingqiu’s joint attacks anyways) with Fischl.
Other characters I recommend leveling up are Xilonen, Lan Yan, and Rosaria. Really everyone should eventually be lv70 for Imaginarium Theater, but that seems like a ways away for your account.
Since you don’t have a lot of DPS units, I suggest getting one in the near future. Maybe not **right now** because Columbina + Ineffa are a crazy pair, but something to plan ahead for.

I’m saying that if you are interested in them, then they are definitely worth pulling.
You lack a limited hydro character, and while Furina would be the most generally good one for a new account, that doesn’t mean Columbina isn’t also going to be an upgrade to an account with no hydro limiteds.
Likewise, you also lack a limited electro character, and Ineffa is probably the best there is at the moment in terms of account value (like if you could only choose one electro limited, Ineffa would more often than not be that limited).
The combo of Ineffa + Columbina is also going to be incredibly strong at a baseline, and can carry you through a lot of even endgame content. Not a bad duo to aim for if you have the ability to.

Is it necessary for me to get both for them to work well? Or could I hypothetically pull for one and use them with the characters I have now if I don’t manage to get the other?

I mean that’s kind of a subjective question. You can technically use both with the roster you have without the other, and both will be upgrades to your lineup.
A lot of people will tell you “Columbina is bad without other Nod Krai limiteds” but that’s only when speaking from a “top meta” perspective, and even then it’s not like she suddenly becomes useless. She still has off field hydro application and decent subdps, two traits that are valuable to have in a lot of teams. Xingqiu is great and all, but he loses a lot of potency if your on fielder doesn’t regularly use normal attacks. She also doesn’t have Furina’s main drawback, which is draining party HP and thus needing a healer. On the contrary, Columbina can be your healer if you give her Prototype Amber (which is her best f2p weapon anyways).
If meta matters to you, then Ineffa is the “better” pick because she was designed and released during a time before Lunar characters (she was the first Nod Krai character released), and as such she is good as the only NK character on your team; it’s what she was balanced around. Ineffa will outdamage Columbina given neutral conditions for both, while also providing a shield.
