Cyrene is boring, Shunguang is atrociously designed and written, and Columbina is well designed and written. You shouldn't insult her by comparing her to the other two.

Similar sentiments here. Cyrene isn't boring for me, more like mis-written due to the twist in the end (that didn't pay off for me honestly). For YSG, her event does a better work of showing her in a more personal light than the main story.
Columbina has better writing and isn't outright being marketed as a waifu. Her biggest writing "issue" Is the eldritch horror prejudice versus the current version we have of her.

The whole thing with Shunguang being pushed as the biggest and best waifu completely killed any interest in her and made me skip large sections of season 2 chapter 6 that are focused on her. It's to the point that just looking at her irritates me sometimes.
