Should I even pull in 6.3?
I will have 70 pulls, no guarantee, and no pity starting in 6.3 phase 1
I was initially thinking about going for Ineffa and then trying for Columbina (if I didn't get her, I'd wait for her rerun) for Cyno. I started the game as a Cyno main and would love a reason to use him again. My current pulls (and the fact I don't spend on the game) make me question if I should do this. I'd also want to aim for C1 Lauma to maximize Cyno's potential. I don't know if I want to pull three characters (and a con) just for Cyno though. It depends how worth it that would be.
Another thing is, I don't have many geo characters (which is pain in IT). I was wondering if I should get Zibai instead so I had another decent geo character since I only have Albedo built right now. (I also wouldn't mind getting Illuga, but he'd sit on my account without Zibai). I don't want to feel like I have to get Columbina for Zibai though. I'm not sure I have a good team for Zibai that won't feel bad to play with the characters I own.
Looking ahead, I wouldn't mind vertically investing in my mains/getting sigs and possibly getting new characters like Nicole who might possibly (maybe) work with my current teams if the stars align right (like Durin did for Kinich since I didn't want Mavuika). I'm not opposed to saving. It's just figuring out it's this is my best option.
I main Skirk, Kinich, and Lyney who deal decent damage and either have their best teams or close enough. (Just in case knowing who I prefer helps.)
I do not have any lunar characters if you couldn't tell. Abyss constantly reminds me of this. I can 36* until I need lunar, which sucks. This also plays a part in why I don't know what to do. I could wait, but I also get annoyed each abyss cycle seeing enemies I can't beat (and artifact RNG is not helping)

Lunar reactions aren't anything special its the characters kit and what they actually do thats more important. Ineffa or Lauma alone takes care of their primary Lunar mechanics by themselves. Columbina certainly does not (she has less sub dps and like minuscule buffs vs Furina and gigantic dmg% buffs if no other NK). Since both have higher inherit buffs/shred on their personal design then Columbina herself.
In reality C6 Illuga/C6 Aino has more buffs its just that Bina plus 5 star NK is a f ton more damage for her and good boosts to the other. Its like having a second Ineffa but this time she can be a top tier MDPs but only if you get the Ineffa/Lauma equivalent first. That's the catch. Lauma and Ineffa have no such problem having that catch in the first place.
Ineffa runs riot in any team I put her on.
Zibai has the strongest upfront damage for on field NK dps at a baseline shes the only one that calcs above 100k without another NK 5 star off rip and all 4 stars. Zibai is the Varesa equivalent but alot stronger in vertical and has older char options like Xilo (since she's better than Illuga C2) + Furina and or Zhongli as competitive slots.... but surprise suprise guess who got the 4th slot Ineffa got calced the highest if Illuga is or isnt c2 with Xilo and if he is c6 regardless.
Bina changes the game only because Ineffa and Lauma are not balanced units at all not the reverse in fact way way different. A Skyline R32 was nuts back then now its just adding a supercharger with it. That's basically Columbina.
Getting cons on 4 stars is very risky. Like the difference between C0 Chev, C0 Iansan for Varesa and C6 on both is a large difference to where it makes a considerable impact on team output.
Ineffa can already slot into teams mogging endgame stuff right away but Zibai is a very fine choice.
Also what constellation is your Mona? Her C1/C2/C4 is valuable to Lunar dpses which Ineffa certainly is
Durin, Sucrose, Aino, Ineffa (they are lowkey sick asf together thats my fav Durin team) already clears endgame right now and Ineffa will get like 12% or higher boost from the new domain depending on your Gilded quality which just happens to be Durins best in slot that Domain is crazy for you on potential btw.

but i like the alternative of using Columbina + Ineffa with Chasca too, mostly while exploring. and i can add that Durin too to shred pyro, electro, and anemo( got c2 so not much anemo)
