Sounds like it's coming some time in the near future.

Not the first time. Pretty sure in one of the AQs Traveler is like "say the line Paimon!" like the Bart meme and Paimon is like "*sigh* let's explore the area ahead of us later..."

Iirc I think it was from one of the Mondstadt SQs

Was Venti's story quest I believe. About imaginary friends
Aqua_poris2026-01-06 07:40
Ironically, I did the venti story quest yesterday and the traveller made paimon say the same line as we say to liben in this post. I laughed so hard when he acknowledged it again in the quest.

Venti's Story Quest.

I believe this was one of the beginning AQs, just prior officially going to Liyue, when we got that stone from the mountain-sized Robot. ^_^

Liben is going to end up as one of the Shades in disguise, I just can't prove it.
AksysCore2026-01-05 04:50
Impossible. I say he *is* the Heavenly Principles in disguise.

Low key I want this to be true just because it'd be hilarious
Khelthuzaad2026-01-06 19:08
Im already on the floor laughing, the Liben dialogue implies the Varesa quest about that mushroom god.

Don't blame the messenger. Hoyo is responsible for not adding it sooner.

bonbb2026-01-06 01:58
TIL sanitarium and sanatorium are interchangeable, I always thought it was strictly spelt sanitarium/sanitorium.

Finally! Been waiting for that spot ever since vol 1! (Ie: When Genshin started ~5yrs ago!)
Side-note: I always thought it was gonna be part of Fontaine, way back when! & then it wasn't, & I figured Snezhnaya, if not a special place like Dragonspine or The Chasm. 💖🙏🏽
XyloXlo2026-01-06 07:30
So happy to see Paimon’s interference with my exploration acknowledged.
