Fantastic_Stay80592026-01-05 11:36

Thats a casteist slur...

RevolutionaryFall1022026-01-05 12:22

It's used by everyone now, not really a slur anymore

Fantastic_Stay80592026-01-05 12:23

That does not justify it lil bro

RevolutionaryFall1022026-01-05 12:27

Nah it does. If everyone uses it on everyone then it does not matter anymore lil bro.

Fantastic_Stay80592026-01-05 12:29

Very well, go ahead and call someone that in public, I would love to see someone beat the fuck out of you

Vusdruv2026-01-05 11:08

His legs still look long af in the idle, not sure what got changed

Edit: To clarify, I meant changed as in changed agter the previous promo material of this skin got deleted.

I am aware that Genshin characters, especially tall males, always had very long legs.

nolxve_exe2026-01-05 11:16

They’re not gonna make his legs shorter come on now.

IS_Mythix2026-01-05 11:22

They could add more to his lower half to distort the long ass legs tho like they did in his base skin

nolxve_exe2026-01-05 11:25

Yeah I anticipated that they’d make his legs the tiniest bit wider to make his burst look better. It looked like they did in the clip of his normal attacks but I can’t tell fs

AffectionateGrape1842026-01-05 11:34

Bro he clearly has pretty solid tights, maybe almost as thick as Wrio, anymore and it'll look like he got a bbl

nolxve_exe2026-01-05 11:39

These bbls killing yalll🎵🎶🎤

Ze_AwEsOmE_Hobo2026-01-05 16:03

Making his legs wider won't fix the Burst's visuals. His legs are always going to look weirdly long (unless there's something else to draw away focus) because his cane's placement visually extends them way past his crotch.

If I were Hoyo (and if it wasn't too much work), I'd probably just want to change the angle a little on this skin so it doesn't look like his legs extend into Infinity and Beyond. It could be a replication of his splash art.

Conscious-Process4662026-01-05 12:46

I think the robe was what made his legs look normal though. The no-robe mod looks funny as heck -.-

JDBCool2026-01-05 12:58

Owl legs, you're welcome >:]

ReeVsq2026-01-05 11:20

His legs were always long, it's just more noticeable now because he isn't wearing his long robes.

Zwirbs2026-01-05 13:51

Some tall males have goofy ahh legs

best_boi22026-01-05 14:28

Nah bro, its all of them. Their knees are so damn low😭 I think its most visible in these two and durin, tho

AlienZak2026-01-05 14:58

Ayato is the worst by far I think

best_boi22026-01-05 14:59

All of them are equally as bad😭

Express-Bag-39352026-01-05 19:56

Ayato also has cursed long legs with goofy knee joint positions.

Bros knees are where his shins should be.

Alex24222026-01-05 23:35

The effects of Hoyo going out of their way to make sure every adult man is taller than any playable adult woman.

324Cats2026-01-05 11:24

they are just going to make his trousers wider

Weaponmaster4702026-01-05 12:05

His legs are long because he's blessed by the long legged New Moon at the near hour of ascension, the true authority of the dragons, look there's even a dove right there.

QuattroChar2026-01-05 17:09

They really did take inspiration from CLAMP, right down to the long legs lol

Flauschvieh2026-01-05 17:19

Columbia is also 80% legs (at least in the trailer before the Last Chinese Livestream) and no one complained lol

HornySnorlax2026-01-05 11:11

\-1 for having his model continue to have drips while he reverses rain.

PhoenixA19062026-01-05 11:12

I cannot unsee Mega Starmie, I'm sorry they are literally the same.

La-Roca992026-01-05 11:18

Unfortunately they are not the same

Mega Starmie got style

hiryu642026-01-05 13:43

KACHITORITAI

Calcipher1822026-01-05 11:12

Where's the burst showcase Hoyo, hmm?

WootyMcWoot2026-01-05 13:47

Can’t have that with all the baby criers out there ready to act like their life will end if something looks even a bit goofy

Pointlessala2026-01-05 16:02

lol if I’m spending money for a product it better not look goofy or half assed in an animation I’m going to be activating a lot. Esp an animation that looked better in og

CantaloupeParking2392026-01-05 21:39

Its PAID skin lol. Ofc we dont want it to look stupid??

Appropriate_Gate11292026-01-05 11:13

So...have they changed anything?

ShoppingFuhrer2026-01-05 14:29

He looks more ~~Vampire~~ Dragon Billionaire CEO lmao

Maiden_Sunshine2026-01-05 15:38

This comment is so funny and accurate lmao. He does!

Harrowify2026-01-05 11:19

so nothing changed basically?

breszn2026-01-05 11:21

The crotch in the pants is way too high and that’s why this looks so damn weird on him. He’s all legs yet super top heavy

AffectionateGrape1842026-01-05 11:37

Nope, that's about where an adult man's crotch would be in tight pants

breszn2026-01-05 11:39

This is a scifi fantasy game with a dragon human hybrid dressed In a suit made by sea monkeys I think they can take some artistic liberties to make proportions look better

stormbefalls2026-01-05 12:24

this genuinely made me holler laughing. you’re absolutely right lol

jinxedandcursed2026-01-06 04:50

Plus if people know lizard anatomy, there can be a lore accurate reason for a dragon human to have a bigger pelvic area for the pants.

breszn2026-01-06 04:53

Oh uhm hm oh uhm hm oh

friedandfrogged2026-01-05 11:21

i don't know how to word this but i wish the outfit leaned into the fact that the melusines were supposed to be the ones who designed this 💔 like when i texted my friend about it during the livestream i said "either furina and neuvillette interact again, wriothesley got into clothes making, or chiori was feeling a lil patriotic" because it has the same vibes as his original outfit, and i don't know why they didn't take the opportunity to do something different. he already looked all gentlemanly(? wrong word) in his original outfit, people would've loved something with a big contrast to his OG, and even moreso with basically his kids being the ones who made it

friedandfrogged2026-01-05 11:24

writing my tenth comment explaining that i don't really like his skin while clearing my schedule so i can download the update and buy it as soon as it drops

JDNTT2026-01-05 11:41

tbh I was hoping for a liyue skin especially bc lantern rite. a hanfu would've looked great plus could keep the silhouette of his robes, and wouldn't really have similar vibes to his original outfit

RookieZookie2026-01-05 16:29

I've always loved his outfit in [this](https://m.hoyolab.com/#/article/35554125) fanart

BuzzedHoneyBee2026-01-05 15:25

I wish they had used the melusine claymore sticker effect for the outfit somehow

legitimatelyrobbed2026-01-05 11:25

oh wow, permanently available skin event?

Zephyr_ta2026-01-05 11:28

Hawkmoth lookin ahh

Sofisasam2026-01-05 11:29

Dont be shy, show us the burst hoyo

Maokoba2026-01-05 11:33

Anything for you my king

NeosFlatReflection2026-01-05 11:35

Me when im in a “stupid word making up” competition and my opponent is hoyoverse

tonymichaelvn2026-01-05 11:35

my man is 90% legs

UrsaRizz2026-01-05 11:35

Nah the legs are too goofy and long, add some weight there

Harley_Maya2026-01-05 11:36

This guy is soo beautiful that it make my eyes water 🥹

Sabishi19852026-01-05 11:36

I really don't get why people are freaking out about this skin. It looks fine to me (yes, even the burst animation). 🤷‍♀️

Every character that uses the tall model in this game has ridiculously long legs... 😅

hikufalafel2026-01-05 11:55

The usual tourists and antis stirring sht up.

Jirul112026-01-05 11:57

or different people with different opinions. Shocking!

hikufalafel2026-01-05 15:54

That aint a denial. Lol
Your point and my point arent mutually exclusive.

koromedy2026-01-05 12:09

Anyone who thinks differently from you is an anti

hikufalafel2026-01-05 15:52

Your words, not mine.
Good job outing yourself.

Vanthraa2026-01-05 11:59

Honestly his base outfit just set the bar too high for me aha

Conscious-Process4662026-01-05 12:51

I mean ever since the Neuvillette skin leaks, I’ve already been concerned with how the skin may fare against the absolute PEAK that is his OG skin. So honestly, the current reaction is not a surprise lmao. Golden opportunity for Xiao or Chongyun skin and they went after sales again…

Prior_Implement_92792026-01-05 17:46

I mean if they’re going be charging $20 for it I think the reaction should be more of a wow factor than this

Ccat509912026-01-05 11:38

Show us the burst, Hoyo…

Loumigaya2026-01-05 11:38

Daddy Long Legs <3

Lordmaster3162026-01-05 11:40

I'll get this skin if it was free
But it seems its NOT

Also I don't even have him

notthatjaded2026-01-05 14:19

No 5 star’s skin (save the “censored” ones and the Traveler’s new skin…and Durin I guess but that’s more “gets new accessories” and hardly makes a change) has ever been free in this game. Silly to expect Neuvi’s would be any different.

Yurand_2026-01-05 11:42

Why does he look like Ayato in this skin? Lol

Lech2D2026-01-05 11:48

One word: peak

katbelleinthedark2026-01-05 12:05

10/10, no notes from me, I love it, I will no longer be F2P for this.

StarJolion2026-01-05 12:08

The 2D art has more leg definition than the 3D. It's subtle but it's there.

3D artist bro just wasn't motivated I guess.

Darazelly2026-01-05 12:08

What weirded me out about the skin is how square the coat + scarf makes him look. The way Wrio's coat is draped it hangs lower on his right shoulder + the fur, preventing the lapels from making the very stiff straight "80s shoulder pads on stereoids" silhouette this skin have (had??). So his shoulders had this wide stiff straight line, and then his torso is partially obscured by the scarf, creating the weird visual of a Xiao narrow torso and Varka wide shoulders.

sorry_for_vague_desc2026-01-05 17:56

Yeah, his original design emphasizes his chest area and trapezoid-shaped upper sleeves with everything else flowing down from there. The skin removing all that just adds to the stickbug illusion in his burst.

MostlyChaoticNeutral2026-01-05 18:01

The coat is my main issue with it. It looks fine, if a little plain, from the front, but from the back it looks like a blue door with Arlecchino's ponytail. The silhouette just looks a minecraft body from behind, and that's the angle you see most often.

chairmanxyz2026-01-05 22:36

This is precisely why Hoyo (and most game characters in general) feature asymmetry. Not only does it make the outfit more interesting to look at all the time, but you avoid issues like this where symmetry actually looks off.

HooterAtlas2026-01-05 12:11

I’m so excited. Poor man has had to go around in heavy ass robes and now he gets to lighten it up. I never buy skins in games, but I’m making the exception here. He looks great.

catastrophez2026-01-05 12:15

I swear the hydro homies got the best drip

Ademoneye2026-01-05 12:19

Please hoyo, my neuvillette kinda burst-less

Sonoreal2026-01-05 12:20

I wanna see the burst showcase

Kyrion5302026-01-05 12:30

dont be shy, post the burst animation~

rW0HgFyxoJhYka2026-01-06 04:51

They are probably fixing that this week lol. Its also funny because their QA testers were interviewed but all of them were like Zibai is so fuckin hot. Probably never even looked at Neuveliette's cosmetic.

DcQ62026-01-05 12:40

Pure downgrade from his OG

goodclassbung2026-01-05 13:09

It's alright.

CascaDEER2026-01-05 13:10

I dont see the problems, only the burst look goofy because the cane hid his crotch area, making the legs look weirdly long. He is no worse than Ayato when it comes to design here

SecretSpectre112026-01-05 13:35

Why is he rectangular now

xXSoulReapperXx2026-01-05 13:38

At this point Hoyo should just stop making skins.

missy202012026-01-05 13:46

It's growing on me. I think I need to buy 1 more Welkin to have enough crystals, I'll probably get it. Gotta make my main man dapper

Kampfkewob2026-01-05 14:22

He wears the jacket like Yami Yugi lol

Diligent_Caramel_7932026-01-05 14:54

The best to ever do it 😌 (in my opinion)

best_boi22026-01-05 14:30

So uh... did something change in the model?

notthatjaded2026-01-05 14:44

Biggest missed opportunity is not having a Melusine sticker tucked away in there somewhere.

SoloWaltz2026-01-05 15:07

Big dracula energy.

awwgateaux012026-01-05 15:08

Gonna post this someone else's comment

>Neuvilleg

because it's kinda funny

johanxtwo2026-01-05 15:20

5 years and Hoyo still can’t give their men decent pants. No changes whatsoever in style

Axheron2026-01-05 15:23

His legs really are absurdly long in this skin 🤣🤣🤣

RommelShezait2026-01-05 15:32

Melusent gift

But hoyoverse sells it now

realtrashvortex2026-01-05 15:46

Give him back his thigh high boots, or show us the "new" burst, cowards

Ok_Cartographer1202026-01-05 16:08

He is balding his hair is so thin in that ponytail T~T

anarchy7532026-01-05 16:24

Nice.

Not worth spending money on, but nice.

ultragaydotcom2026-01-05 16:28

Honestly you can tell the Melusine's did it

Dependent_Effort_4862026-01-05 17:08

fine ass man

Stealthless2026-01-05 17:17

What's with the tall men having noodle arms and stick legs?

Flauschvieh2026-01-05 17:20

Idc i dig this Outfit so hARD

Prior_Implement_92792026-01-05 17:43

This is straight up not worth paying money for

Personal-Extension562026-01-05 19:23

New passive: when active character is wearing the new outfit “Melusent Gift”, gain -1000 energy every 2 seconds.

leakmydata2026-01-05 21:55

They should have given him dragon haunches

SonicBoom5002026-01-06 00:39

This does look nice I’ll say

smokedtofus2026-01-06 02:14

To me it's okay from the waist up, but the pants are plain looking, not fancy, not "expensive". Just plain. This outfit doesn't feel creative to me. They're always very similar to their original designs, as if hoho is purposefully avoiding creating new silhouettes. Also, it feels like literally every other skin is blue. There are more colors to choose from. Even using white/light gray with blue accents would work. I like the slight change in his hairstyle and the gloves though. I'll still get it because I love Neuv but this one doesn't impress me.

poproxanmmd2026-01-06 06:39

am i a crazy person or does he look fine, like im trying to see the issues and theres nothing outside of the burst animation that they decided to hide, neuvillette’s regular outfit has skinny stick legs under his cloak, he’s always been a skinny guy idg why everyone thinks he should suddenly have muscular legs not to mention genshin tall men always had stick legs and boring pants with low knees, this has been an issue since 1.x why suddenly with neuvillette is it such a big issue 😭😭

not to mention all the pretty boys in all asian media have long skinny legs, like even the love and deepspace guys have long skinny legs lmao

Railaartz2026-01-06 17:50

People just like to hate for hate's sake, unfortunately. The outfit is fine by me, he looks even cuter in it than in his original default outfit😭🥹
