Should I level up other characters or wait?

I have LVL 80 on Traveler, Barbara, Xiangling, and Keqing, and should achieve LVL 100 in the next two weeks or so. The question arises that should I start thinking who to level up next or to wait for limited banners to get characters I want.

I have Kayea LVL 47, Fischl and Amber LVL 40, Manekins and Lisa LVL 20, and Noelle, Ororon, Kuki Shinobu, and Collei LVL 1. I’m about to do Aino’s quest to get her so she should soon also be part of the roster.

However, I really want Mauvika and Kokomi when they come around (and maybe some if I change my mind or want more).

youre still using Traveler, Kaeya Barbara, XL? i dont think you will reach level 100 anytime soon. you need c6+ on five stars specifically to raise level past 90

Fischl is good to level all the time
Kuki, if you want to try hyperbloom

id consider current Xilonen or Varesa for Mavuika later? (more like Mavuika would be helping Varesa)
Kokomi, noone can say when she runs again

Level up Fischl (strong sub dps), Kuki (lvl 90 for hyperbloom) and Collei (also for hyperbloom, but stopping at lvl 80 or even 70 is ok). Other characters don't matter much but you can lvl them to 70 for Imaginarium Theatre. Also, lvl 90 is the max level, you can only get lvls 95 and 100 from having C6+ 5\*

Up to you, really. You have a limited supply of resources per day, spend them however you like. Worst case scenario is you'd need some more time to restock.

I'd probably start working on extra characters to get further in Abyss / IT, but there is no single 'correct' answer.

Side note: You can't actually grind to lvl 100, the normal level cap is 90. The only way to go above 90 is a special item you get for reaching c7+ on a 5-star character.

Just build for IT. 100 isn't that important considering how rare it is especially for a new player that's also an f2p. That thing needs a c6. You have to pull a lot and lose a lot before you even get one

Notably you likely won’t be getting anyone to 100 since its not grindable, but i assume u just mean getting them to max lvl which in genshins case we consider 90. So i would say don’t bother, most characters its not worth your resources to go past 80 since its such a large recource investment in comparison to what u get out of it. There are exceptions to this such as characters who scale off HP or EM, but most of the characters will be atk scaling and can get most out then this way while saving resources. I personally have most of my characters at 80 and clear all endgames fine as do many others. Of course if you really like the character and use them alot then by all means its no mistake to go 90.

Fischl in particular i would say is worth your resources leveling since she is very good on many teams, but thats just a general advice. The real best advice for who to level is who will be on the team of the main carry you like. I can think of certain units that would love kuki or collei and different ones who would love xiangling or fischl. So i would say after picking a main dps find out who might work with them and thats who you really want to level up.
