The design change in Iansan was in my opinion kinda a blessing. They fixed her eye shape, changed her skull (the thing that’s attached on to her bandana), changed the lighting in her design compared to the Travail version, and they did pretty well on that I can’t lie. If they kept the Travail design, then she would look chopped really. And her not using a child run animation while using the child model is also interesting too.

I accidentally got a c2 Iansan while aiming for Chevreuse cons. Experimentation in Imaginarium Theater revealed that Yae Miko’s skill cast has enough motion to fully fill her meter.
How bad of an idea would hypercarry Miko with Iansan be? Or should I just try reviving my Plunge Diluc (team: Bennett, Xianyun, Mona as a temp slot, and Diluc) and using her in place of Mona?

The idea is surely interesting, but for it to work you need to make sure Miko also able to keep the meter active. As for how good it will be, only numbers can answer.
For diluc i think its better to slot someone that can apply continous hydro/cryo like xinqiu, rosaria, citlali or furina. You can slot iansan though against enemy like tulpa.

I have a C1 Xingqiu and a C0 Rosaria. The problem with Xingqiu is that he only applies hydro with his burst during NAs or CAs, not plunges. I’ve experimented using him in the team, and I end up losing out on damage since I have to shove in a slow claymore NA between each plunge.
The other problem with the Miko idea is that while Iansan C2 buffs on field damage dealers, Miko is on Golden Troupe, and the 4pc effect wants her to be off field. I *could* give her 2pc Golden Troupe, 2pc Gladiators/Shimenawa, but I fear it would just be a DPS loss overall.
I was *supposed* to get a Furina, but ended up spending my pulls on an impulse Nahida right before her last rerun. And now I’m considering going for Columbina instead…
Side note, would Nahida and Columbina be a decent pair for Lunar Bloom? I have Raiden to potentially make it a Hyperbloom, or Thoma to potentially make it a Burgeon. I’m not completely sold yet to go for either Lauma or Ineffa as a specific Lunar support.

I think it could work, because if i remember correctly columbina could consume the dew from lunar bloom. if you want, build hyperbloom cause burgeon arent worth it. if you want to pull lunar support, pull for ineffa because ineffa + bina could wheelchair many characters to beat ascendant gleam contents.

I'm cool with it. Nahida is very child like in nature, and while Dori is rich and a savvy business owner, she's also a goofball. The run is totally in character for both of them.
I am glad they didn't go the same route with Iansan though. That would have looked really dumb.

The arguments for Nahida only look reasonable on paper, design wise I find her run to be even more unbearable compared to Dori's.
All her other animations, even if child-like and playful, do not overtly presents a sense of immaturity like Klee's. She gives off a sense of youthful innocence that's also more graceful and demure. Doing an airplane run and flailing her arms around at the end to stop does not fit her character at all.
