Question

If I get Columbina and i don’t own any Nod-Kari character, am i technically gonna have her benched

I was planning in getting Laura in the future after her but since i have nahida i don’t wish to bench her.

Ineffa is too soon

And Flins with hexeris sucrose and Fischl with columbina is the only team I can see with her

Any tips would be help full thanks.

Getting Bina will probably be your trump card that enables every nod krai reaction with her and a non-nod krai character of the respective element.

Columbina is unique in that she can make any reaction that has the potential to be a lunar reaction to be a lunar reaction without needing a second lunar character.

Of course, she will work *better* with lunar characters, but that doesn't make her useless on a team with others.

If you don’t have any other NK character, you’ll probably only really use her in cases where abyss/SO has a lunar shill chamber/boss, since she enables all lunar reactions.

She’s still a fine and functional character without the other 5* characters, but a LOT of her power comes from being paired with either ineffa or lauma, and she’s pretty mid without another NK character. Ineffa and lauma are both just so strong as 5* supports in lunar teams that they are pretty much required for any good lunar team.

I would strongly recommend either getting Lauma or ineffa if you want to pull for Columbina. I’ve heard a lot of people saying that if they can’t get both, they’re going to pull for ineffa first since Columbina is more likely to get a rerun sooner - but if you care more about getting Columbina now, that’s fine too since she’s still a functional character now and will let you play around with all 3 of the lunar reactions

Columbina can be used without Nod Krai units, but she won't provide nearly as much without Lauma or Ineffa.

If you don't pull other 5-star Nod Krai main on field dps character, Columbina will not do much. She can trigger lunar reaction, add a little damage and apply hydro, but not much else. Some people may not realize that, "trigger lunar reaction" and "doing damage that are considered as lunar damage" are completely different. The majority damage of NK lunar team comes from the non-reaction direct attacks of their talent, and lunar reaction only contributes a small part. It is the same if you use Columbina without NK characters, which lunar reaction only contributes a small percentage, and Columbina provides 0 buff for the majority of team damage sources.

Columbina + Lauma is also a worse combo compared to other 5-star NK characters. Lauma does not do much damage until C6, and Columbina's damage is much worse than Nefer. Columbina + Ineffa is a good combo anyway.
