Is Neuv still worth building today?

Since you're saying you are a pretty casual player, I'd advice pulling characters you like first. But if you want to progress MoC, you will need a second team. Columbina would be a decent start at that—taking advantage of a lot of Lunar shilling. Up to you of course, but pretty much any healer will do in your Neuvi team.

Hey, I d like to give you my opinion on this as someone who has followed genshin's meta pretty closely in the last 2 years. I'd like to say 2 things:

1) Neuvillette is still very good, don't worry about that! While it is true that genshin has introduced a bit of powercreep lately, it is nowhere near as bad as many people online claim and it's still much more bearable than basically every other gacha game that exists. The only problem you may have is that now in abyss 12 and stygian 5 the game sometimes puts new enemies whose mechanics can only be dealt with through new characters' kits, like for example the new fatui enemy and herra that can only be beaten with ascendant gleam and lunar reactions.
But if you pull for either colombina or ineffa you won't have this problem anymore, and neuvillette is as strong as ever outside of this situations!

2) I want this to be very clear: you don't need xilonen at all to make neuvillette work! Actually you don't need xilonen to make anyone work (maybe only mavuika, but even she has a bunch of other options now). Xilonen is a very strong generalist support that can buff a lot of carries, but the truth is that she has been kinda "powercrept" in the sense that newer carries usually prefer very specific teammates to make them work and generalist buffers like her and kazuha are falling down in the meta. She is currently a 'nice to have" pull: if you have her you will probably use her but she's not must pull at all

Speaking more in detail about neuvillette: he now has like 10 possible teams lol. You're probably not updated and you still think his best team is "furina kazuha xilonen" as it was last year, but things have changed a lot this year hahaha. Now he can play in freeze with escoffier (she doesn't want xilonen), in hyperbloom/lunar bloom with lauma or in lunar charge with ineffa (xilonen is not the best in none of these teams). All the teams I mentioned are STRONGER the the classical "furina kazuha xilonen" hypercarry team. He doesn't even need a healer because well, he heals himself. Lunar teams in particular may allow you to beat lunar bosses without having to pull for nod krai carries.
All this to say, don't feel pressured into pulling xilonen at all! She s actually pretty useless for you

In my opinion the pull priority for you is:
1) ineffa
2) colombina (ineffa and colombina togheter are so strong they can beat abyss 12 without anyone else in their team basically)
3) other supports for neuvillette if you want team variety (escoffier lauma nilou ecc)

It was theater man... It was whatever the hell theater threw at me xD. Theater is an endgame where you use whatever it throws at you (and hope you preplanned the boss)

I use xilonen and neuv in my team and she helps a lot by buffing neuv, but yeah nod krai characters will be better. Im waiting on varka, so will skip pulling next patch

IR is interruption resistance. So a shielder or a characters abilities like Xingqui burst for example by definition no matter how weak or strong it is has that which Nuevillete prefers over anything since he self heals anyway so a healer is redundant for him and the Furinas fanfare stacks quickly with Nuevillete alone.


Trust me Ineffa is nasty asf. I use her with Arlecchino, Lauma, Barbara DPS hbloom, Yanfei, Sucrose, Durin, on field Yelan etc.


On my freinds acc, Yae, Raiden, Ayato, Nuevillete, Kokomi 


Shes Xiangling on steroids without being a energy blackhole, has a shield and self buffs her own reaction, gives em to onfielder and to herself. She kind of solves the inherit flaws with gouba queen, Fischl and Beidous kit.

Sub DPS carrying him, for example Ineffa and Lauma and Furina, and probably next patch is Ineffa and Columbina

wheelchair means that the support core is that strong, that you can use pretty much every dps and it will work. first was bennett, xingqui and xiangling. later it was hyperbloom, then furina, xianyun and bennett. now its columbina + ineffa or columbina + lauma.

Tbh if all you care about is story content you can totally just go for columbina first if you prefer her. She’s not a crazy good unit without any other NK characters and on her own doesn’t really fit into the teams you mentioned, though.

Definitely wouldn’t pull *only* columbina for endgame content is the main thing

Neuv with Furina pretty much makes it that you don't need a healer on Neuv teams since he can manipulate hp himself. So Jean isn't necessary since Kazuha already provides buffs/shred, and Neuv is a hp scaler/benett is an atk buffer so useless for him. You can just plug in a sub dps like Fischl or anything else if you don't have Xilonen.

Coolest part about it is from a brand new acc perspective you can theoretically get Sucrose (her cons dont matter at all), Aino and Ineffa in a day when her banner comes out. 


That is literally the basis for a team to clear endgame content and will only scale higher through time with Aino cons, better standard weapons, better on fielders or off field support etc.

skirk has a playstyle in wich she only uses her burst. but to be honest, a team with furina, skirk and escoffier will be stronger if you replace nevi with a support for skirk.
