Saving primogems could be overrated?

I dont save primogems, i literally use them as soon as i reach 160, the only character i wanted and didnt get was skirk and chef girl.

However genshin gives f2p almost enough to hit soft pity every patch, especially with updates that have story quests or new maps in them. I only have welkin but have managed to get every new 5* since 5.8 and im guaranteed for columbina

I also got mualani, xilonen, kinich, varesa, mavuika and citlali during natlan without having to spend other than welkin.

Not trying to show off. But my point is f2p could have alot more characters if focused on clearing everything during each update, it’s easier said than done but possible. I wouldn’t recommend doing this because it can be risky ofc.

The reason this works for me is because ive been doing this since 1.0 so i have alot of down time during rerun phases because i either already have the character or i genuinely dont want that ho

No i usually build pity but not too much to the point that im over 50 wishes, ive never had over 2 10pulls in wishes

Thats still saving pulls bro , the point of saving is not getting some characters because you are waiting the other one , thats literally what saving means

I build pity too , if I want the 4 star and dont mind an early 5star , but I’m still saving because I will not hit pity and still have 10-20k primos left (damn even having 1000 primos is still saving primos for the next character)

If that's how you want to play then that's your jam, but for F2Ps with limited pulls who have different priorities than "settle for whatever" or specific favorites and team comps they want to pursue, this is considered bad practical advice.

Its your account use it however you like but I would at least wait until you have a 10 pull to get something 4 star at minimum
