I only had ganyu, kaeya and rosaria built for cryo dps. So to save for the last few boss fights I had to do a lot of pure electro swirl teams on my way there.

Couldn't for the love of god get good damage with skirk and my ayaka without battery was doing the same damage as ganyu.
That was the only one that I can remember where I didn't even try to get all the stars cause it wasn't possible with my team at the time.

Problem with IT is that some character just doesnt work, especially now since Hoyo is pushing premade teams with BIS partners that you need to make characters work.
Example: Mualani, ever try using her in an IT with no pyro elements? Absolute usesless.

Imaginarium theatre is far easier than Stygian onslaught and spiral abyss as an f2p female characters collector. I can't do them because I don't have mavuika or ineffa, even when I have skirk or lauma team, I can't deal enough damage. They must have super lucky artifacts or constellation. In IT, you just need some RNG and know which enemies to avoid and which characters to use

I used to hate it and still do to some extent due to how "pay to have more fun" it is but it's the only challenging mode I can complete with my bricked account and have fun doing so. I feel like this is what people who do onslaught feel like when they reset a hundred times to clear, which is something I straight up will never even get to do for at least a year or two.

it was back when there was no reward for max stellas, the max was 10 but to get all the rewards you only needed 9. For endgame content I usually just do 1 run and live with it, but since they made 12 stellas have extra rewards now I care a bit more about what teams I use and try a few times on some of the stages if I can’t get the stella in one try.

I am a character collector , so even if i don't pull for everyone, i have A LOT of them.
(i don't pull for constelations or weapon)
But i didn't tried to build them right, nor do i wanted, so i never beat the 12th floor.
Unitl Stygian Onslaught.
I built some characters, and now 12th floor is a walk in the park.
Theater is a different story i needs a lot of character just to be okay. But my mains are Pyro, so when it's not pyro season, it's meh result.
Stygian is two IV's and two V's right now.

as for Stygian it's... ALMOST only for newly released characters.

With normal bloom teams like hyperbloom i’m not sure it’s possible unless you include the crab local legend which multiplies bloom damage, nefer directly scales with em and that em multiplies her damage and is affected by crit so thats why her damage is high.
I think 200k is relatively easy to achieve with c1r1 nefer, but i’ve never seen a c0r1 nefer hit above 200k. My build isn’t the best

Dire difficulty is considered for whales, it's near impossible to clear with C0R0 characters.
Most low spenders and F2Ps consider clearing fearless (difficulty 5) as the true endgame SO challenge.

To be fair the ONLY thing allowing those two last dire clears is the fact that one of the bosses is jean cheeseable. If you’re around in the stygian clearing community most of us accepted fearless as the closest-attainable difficulty, but with these past two stygians basically only having two bosses, you only really need two highly invested teams to clear dire. If those two bosses werent jean cheeseable I would’ve been content with fearless.
Plus dire is a total scam anyway, no real rewards but I thought hey if people online are clearing dire with c0r0 nefer and c0r0 skirk then i dont see why I shouldn’t be able to do it with my teams with more constellations.

Sometimes our waifus just happens to be meta.
Sometimes I just want to use something meta to roflstomp enemies.
Sometimes I just want something meta to quickly clear Abyss, because Abyss is like grocery shopping to me, just as easy and mundane.
I get my primos, I gtfo, I don't come back till they restock. On the other hand I will retry Stygian a lot.
Sometimes I'll just run non-optimal teams with a character I like.

a lot of people, especially new players, feel pressured to complete all the endgame modes otherwise they feel like they're not as good as other players. i think that's where the "pain" comes from. i personally just gave up and now i feel less stressed. sometimes i might try 36*ing the abyss but if i don't succeed i just stop and do something else. if something becomes genuinely stressful it's not a game anymore. games are meant to be fun, so play the game the way you think is more fun for you :3

I genuinely find Imaginarium Theatre so fun these days because I get to use all of the characters I built up in nonconventional teams. Its a lot of on-the-go problem solving and not just using typical teams. Its interesting and challenging but easily doable by putting TTDS and Instructors on every less-good character and planning ahead

yes dendro geo anemo have actually zero reactions, but the above has effectively zero reactions.
So if they were to make a Dendro Geo Anemo theater, it's gonna get the biggest rimegrass treatment ever seen.
I only had ganyu, kaeya and rosaria built for cryo dps. So to save for the last few boss fights I had to do a lot of pure electro swirl teams on my way there.
What a shitty IT patch that was
Couldn't for the love of god get good damage with skirk and my ayaka without battery was doing the same damage as ganyu.
That was the only one that I can remember where I didn't even try to get all the stars cause it wasn't possible with my team at the time.

They give me 3 characters to choose from: Amber, Diluc, C3R1 Arlecchino (my friend's arle)
If it's stages 1-3 I'm going amber
4-7 I'm going diluc
8+ I'm going C3R1 Arlecchino
Example: Mualani, ever try using her in an IT with no pyro elements? Absolute usesless.
If you enjoy playing casually, cool! You can skip all hard contents.
If you want a challenge and want to spend 5-10 hours trying to beat theater (with 12 stella) or beat Stygian Onslaught on Dire, by all means, do it!
If you're a millionaire and want drop 1-2k every month on Genshin, you can do that too. Nothing is wrong with that. Rich people have very expensive hobbies too. My cousin has a 30k shoes' collection for example. Video game like all things can be a healthy hobby/escapism.
Like new player asking for advices about their favorite- gets advised to not play the and pull for Leta units asap.
Or a person asking for team and meta feedback gets told - you don’t need that this game is super casual.
It’s selective perception of what annoys them personally so they keep on acting like their own way of enjoying is somehow the misunderstood one like people like op just on purpose feed the flames and people fall for it as the comment section is full.

I built some characters, and now 12th floor is a walk in the park.
Theater is a different story i needs a lot of character just to be okay. But my mains are Pyro, so when it's not pyro season, it's meh result.
Stygian is two IV's and two V's right now.
This is made my mind. Build your characters.
Yeah, there's no way a recent account can beat Theater, but abyss...
as for Stygian it's... ALMOST only for newly released characters.
And yeah, it's a pain in the ass. But i like succeding in this modes now.

I think 200k is relatively easy to achieve with c1r1 nefer, but i’ve never seen a c0r1 nefer hit above 200k. My build isn’t the best
Most low spenders and F2Ps consider clearing fearless (difficulty 5) as the true endgame SO challenge.
Plus dire is a total scam anyway, no real rewards but I thought hey if people online are clearing dire with c0r0 nefer and c0r0 skirk then i dont see why I shouldn’t be able to do it with my teams with more constellations.
I just don't level up characters for the sake of it. I i level you, i'm going to the very end.
And if i'm not ready yet, pff so be it. I don't care

Sometimes our waifus just happens to be meta.
Sometimes I just want to use something meta to roflstomp enemies.
Sometimes I just want something meta to quickly clear Abyss, because Abyss is like grocery shopping to me, just as easy and mundane.
I get my primos, I gtfo, I don't come back till they restock. On the other hand I will retry Stygian a lot.
Sometimes I'll just run non-optimal teams with a character I like.
