Heh... at home we play with 4 accounts, so adding another platform would be very useful :D
Right now we use 2 PCs and 1 Xbox.

You could consider a mobile device. I recently got a OnePlus Tab 3 and it runs Genshin on max settings without any issues. I paired an Xbox controller with it and it played like a charm on my week-long trip in December. Played in the hotel for 1-2 hours each day.

Tried on the Android tablets that we have at home but it does not work that well. They are not that powerful.
Switch 2 would be perfect. :(

Yeah, Genshin runs like crap on my older phone. But the Tab 3 is a monster. Especially with such a reasonable price for those specs and a 13.2" screen.

Did you try streaming?
If you don't need it on mobile outside home you can probbly get full pc details at 144fps with higher res.
Castef762026-01-06 18:17
Yep, cloud streaming from Xbox worked decently.
ea_man2026-01-06 19:36
FYI: you can't stream anything on a Switch 2. :(

If your looking for something cheaper than a $700 tablet you can look into getting a small Android handheld from Retroid called Retroid G2 woth OLED screen that plays GI amazing
Switch 2 graphics probably still can't handle genshin 💀
Castef762026-01-06 03:04
A 2020 iPad can handle it quite easily.
Switch 2 would do fine.
(even though the "disk space" worries me a bit...)

OG Switch can run Genshin through an Android Emulator. So there's that.

Nothing yet. Was hoping they'd address it at Genshin Fes, but alas.

My theory on why they have been dragging their feet on this is that Nintendo might be asking them things behind the scenes that they don't actually want to do, so they are just leaving negotiations on the table and pretending there is no progress.
The sony deal comes to mind. Had Sony asked them to put Aloy in the game today, I think they would have told them no. They needed to play nice back then, but they don't need to do that anymore, and I think that's why they are holding off on trying to convince other companies to let them be there. If oodles and oodles of cash isn't a good enough reason to let a game come to their platform, then the price may be them wanting representation...which I don't think Mihoyo really wants to deal with.

I can see Nintendo asking for some of their characters to be added, but the Aloy flop could be a bad deterrent.
Ravemst2026-01-06 04:05
There was never any news about a Switch 2 port.
International_You_562026-01-06 08:15
Nintendo just refuses to support the game at this point. Or they're making unreasonable demands.

Now that it has controller support works great
