Which character should I pick for the free constellation event?
Exactly what the title says.
For the first event I just picked the character I liked the most, but now all the ones here are kind of neutral for me, except some from the standard banner. I assume redeeming constellations of standard banner characters is kind of a waste as an F2P, so I've just been thinking I should probably pick between Ganyu and Ayaka, but I don't know whose C1 is better. I don't really use either of them a lot, unless I'm forced to bring out a Cryo that's not Citlali, as I didn't pull for Escoffier or Skirk. I've also looked at tier lists but, depending on which one I'm looking at, sometimes Ganyu's C1 is higher, sometimes lower than Ayaka's. So I was wondering what you guys would advise me to pick?
For context, I pulled Ganyu as a newbie bc I heard she was strong from my friends, but never got used to her as a DPS since I didn't love aiming, waiting for the charged shots and getting hit mid charge. I mostly bring her out for the bursts, but with the new Hexerei buffs I feel like Liyue characters could be next and maybe she could get a support buff? I'm not great at understanding meta and what they'd buff for her, but yeah. Ayaka is fine, she just feels a bit dated right now, so I don't bring her out unless I specifically need a Cryo DPS.
What would you guys do if you were me?

Ayaka c2 is also very weak in modern meta, she gets 2 additional small ults next to the main one, but they often miss resulting in a much smaller dmg gain
