Does this weapon work with Candace's skill ?

Since I have Flin but not Ineffa, I acquired her weapon after losing my 37.5/25 on the weapon portal when it was available. Candace can create a shield with her skill, so I was wondering if the weapon's passive works with her and if I can add her to Flin's team with Aino and Sucrose. Is that possible?

The wording makes it sound like it's possible. Why not just test it yourself? Do lunar damage with Flins' burst before and after using Candace's skill with that weapon equipped and see if the damage increases.

I tested it myself, but I'm not skilled enough to notice a difference in DPS. I did notice a difference of around 5000 to 7000 points of additional damage, but since the damage wasn't constant, I didn't understand where the damage buff came from, which appeared from time to time.

Remove Flin's gear (remove artifact passives and crit) amd give him a 1star spear or something without conditional passives that might affect his damage. Do the same for Candace but keep the weapon (because it's the thing you're testing). Also remove everyone else on the team. Use skil-skill-burst, check damage. Then add Candace, use her skill, then use Flins again and cast skill-skill-burst again. Compare damage.
Basically just remove everything and don't do anything that isn't part of what you're testing.

While it works, the damage-output and most importantly energy production go down the drain. You wont be able to swirl electro which heavily decreases your damage. Overall the weapon only poses a measly 12.5 percent increase overall and the presence of another electro is mandatory. Ineffa will have her rerun, picking her up would be a great option. If not stick to fischl or kuki

If you're talking about a Fontaine Chronicled Wish, to my knowledge there's none coming anytime soon. Also, too many of the Fontaine characters are still in high demand. You're very likely safe to spend some wishes, unless you know of leaked info that I don't.

I do understand the desire to be cautious, though. Hoyo tends to spring Chronicles without much warning.

Remember that the C7-C9 don't have to come from your chosen Fontaine character specifically. If you have Standard characters near C6 - well, Masterless Stella Fortuna are exactly that: Masterless. Those obtained from Standard characters can be used on the Limited character you choose.

You can spend your yearly free Standard to push a standard character to and past C6. You can use a "To Temper Thyself and Journey Far" constellation as well, if you don't have a better use for them.

Yes, I'm familiar with this system and it's a good idea, however, it has two drawbacks. 1. My character from the permanent banner with the most constellations is only at C2, and 2, I want the character I'm saving for C9 to be the only C6 character on my account. It's a matter of preference. So I have no choice but to wait for the Fontaine Chronicles banner.
(especially since this character isn't likely to get many reruns given their low popularity within the community and the low revenue she generated upon release, with only one rerun to date...)

You have your reasons, then, and that's fine.

I gotta say, though, that unless you stop pulling entirely after you get your C9, there's literally nothing you can do do prevent yourself from getting a C6 Standard eventually. Simple randomness will bring one home eventually.

But perhaps that stoppage of pulling IS your plan. If so, I wish you luck in NOT getting that C6 before you reach the point where you halt all pulls!

Trying to get masterless stella fortuna with limited banner characters is just a waste of pulls since the damage increases only about 1-5%. You would be better of pulling more characters than just one c6 because that would benefit your account more

Sigewinne. Since she's considered one of the least profitable characters to pull, and therefore the least pulled, it makes her a rare character to have on your account (not as rare as Eula, I admit). And I'm taking on the challenge of playing her as DPS and making her as strong as possible. I already have her C6 and I'm getting very good results with her, but I really want to unlock her full potential.
The fact that she is sidelined makes me appreciate the character and I want to show that I dedicate my account to her.

No, Candace scales with hp% but this weapon gives atk%..... you can use this weapon with flins (full passive will only work for ineffa)

Even a Candace with this weapon is going to be a dps loss to a stringless C0 Fischl. Fischl deals a third of total team dmg in Flins Aino Sucrose, gives teamwide EM buff and also lower Flins energy requirements.

Candace literally does nothing to Flins

Can candace activate the passive yes she can by bringing up her actual shield that she has.
Like everyone else said probably best not to use her. Though if you just do not want to use aino and are like f it i have c6 candace and this weapon. Then go for it enjoy the game with how you want to play it. Dps loss yes but worth if you are enjoying the character you like.

It's just that I wanted to use this weapon since I obtained it, and it would be a shame to leave it aside knowing that Flin is interested in its stats. But Flin already has his signature weapon, so I'm looking for someone who can play this one.
