i just know im going to get downvoted so bad but is it just me or ineffa/lauma > columbina?

I mean… if you have flins, ineffa worth more than columbina, if you have nefer, lauma worth more than columbina. If you want to play main dps columbina, you need BOTH ineffa and lauma. If you want to play lunar-charged wheelchair, you need ineffa to do shit ton of damage. If you want you play any bloom/lunar bloom wheelchair, well you guessed the answer, lauma is needed. The ONLY winner here is lunar-crystallize, even so only zibai can fully utilize it AND EVEN THAT, c6 illuga worth more than columbina.

Only for Nefer and Flins respectively and still they need her to compete as top Dps. Overall she is one of the best units for your account compared to them, they are still incredibly Powerful but she is just more flexible

I mean, you phrase it as if it’s a problem or a bad thing. It doesn’t have to be. I worry when we get tons of cracked supports back to back to back. Doesn’t feel that sustainable to me.

It looks like Hoyo chose to make Columbina enhance the other Nod Krai Characters instead of just being the best on her own. That might be fairly disappointing to some people, which is valid, but after how much they overturned Ineffa and Lauma I’m glad they didn’t keep doing that.

She seems like a nice complement to lunar teams, which is what a lot of people were expecting anyway due to who she is. I’m glad Flins and Nefer and Zibai are still strong without her. And with her they are the best, so her contribution to the team, while not on par with Ineffa and Lauma, is not negligible either.

It's not just you, columbina is a cherry on top, not the main ingredient of those teams. Even the Bina/Ineffa wheelchair relies mostly on Ineffa, and Bina DPS requires Lauma as much as Nefer does.

Columbina's value comes from replacing Aino, who does 0 damage and has a circle-impact hydro application, with a character that has decent sub-dps and more practical buffs and application, even if she's still not the best *dedicated* sub-dps and buffer. It's fine if she does less damage than Ineffa because she's meant to run alongside, not replace her. But if you have to pick between the two, Columbina is not a priority, she never is actually in any archetype. Even Zibai benefits more from getting her own constellations (alongside Illuga ones) than from staying C0 and pulling C0 Columbina.

Lukewarm. It’s true that Lauma and Ineffa are much stronger within their niche, to the point of near absolute necessity in their respective teams. But Columbina is still desired to take their teams to the next level, and there’s not really an equal substitute (Aino or any other hydro unit are magnitudes inferior in the same role). Plus Columbina is very versatile. It’s rare that a character has 3 seperate teams each topping the DPS chart this way. And if you have Columbina with Lauma she can be a strong on field DPS that’s essentially better than any character released before Mavuika. Think of her as a reverse Mavuika. Mav is 80% main DPS and 20% subDPS . Columbina is 80% subDPS and 20% main DPS. Both obscene units in terms of team damage numbers.

Calling Ineffa or Lauma niche is less than Luke warm. Bother were on 100k teams prior the NK counterparts. Heck Ineffa was one the very first day of testing pre Aino.

You do know Ineffa, Furina, Xilonen/Sucrose/Bennet insert DPS doesnt have another 5 star NK

Both Lauma ans Ineffa are not niche they are completely self contained units and very very powerful in a vacuum

Ineffas is the best hyperbloom char in the game, she does well in overvape, heck ive seen some meme superconduct and it cleared the abyss fine

Lauma is the best bloom, hyperbloom, burgeon support in the game

That’s a fair take, Columbina on her own even though she enables all the reactions.. isn’t giving you the best experience(you could even say underwhelming) compared to the specialists Ineffa/Lauma

But Ineffa/Lauma + Columbina is quite good and in a spot where you don’t necessarily need the respective lunar dps

Columbina is just meant to be universal, not better than the rest. Her strength is that she is HYDRO from NOD-KRAI that actually does dmg and not just a reaction enabler that is Aino. That's why she will always be on the Nod-krai "best team" lists

Truth nuke. The thing is lauma and ineffa with their dps already balance around aino with her limitation. Columbina release will show to majority players that cannot read how unfair these two unit

I haven't seen a compelling reason to use Columbina Hypoglycemia because, funny enough, Hoyo perfected the two hydro archetypes in Fontaine and Xingqiu and Yelan have the sub DPS role locked down, so it's natural that CH feels vestigial. She has no hydro replacement but that doesn't matter when you have 4 team slots and other people do a similar job to her.

I think its because both Lauma and Ineffa are completely self contained units and very very powerful in what they do. Zibai coming has that trait just less as Illuga is like a really watered down version of Lauma (if not c2 then Xilo + Ineffa is flat better) Zibai off rip is a notcieably stronger version of Varesa who theoritcally doesnt need a 5 star and f2p freindly but i know thats bs propoganda C0 Chev/C0 Iansan is completely different to C6 in both.

Columbina is just the turbocharger adding to what is already existed.

If people dont want to adress the elephant in the room thats fine im just looking at it objectively.

Theres a reason why Bina is underwhelming as it pertains to MDPS potential without Lauma same if you pair Bina with Nefer and no Lauma. The damage distrubution gives Lauma something like a ludicrous 55% share on potential and only herself/Nefer/Bina can profit from it.

If anyone cares to look at Laumas C2 and Ineffas R1/C1/C2

Both literally are a full on team by itself with a fn wet tissue in Aino (C6 Aino btw has 80 EM plus 35% Lunar Bonus which is competitive or flat better than Binas buffs)

They both self enhance themselves with no one else and enhance others just in their base kit, gives em, sustains, does a fton of damage on or off field, Lauma is harder to build and Ineffa can perform longer or shorter rotations.

Fact is Bina is balanced around both. Honeslty if you doubled down on giving TTds on Ineffa and a couple tweaks she'll do more damage in Flins best team. Thats the reality

Lauma - C2 Nahida, Nilou C2, Mini Escoffier, Shenhe Cons

Ineffa - Xiangling on steroids with a fn shield without the bs energy requurements and no need for Bennett, and selfless application. Right now you put Ineffa in a Nuevillette team you cant really say its a Nuevillette team can you
