Barrel Road: A fast-paced competitive auto scroller for Miliastra Wonderland
NA GUID: 7522336719
I wanted more options for 1v1 competitive games, so I made one myself!
The premise is an on-rails shooter where you must break barrels before they pass you. Hitting three barrels of the same color in a row will send a large slime to the opponent's track. No items or upgrading, just combat action and player skill.
You can also do practice runs in single player, but it won't be as difficult without the opponent sending slimes your way.
Let me know if you try it out or have any thoughts about the game or the game balance! I tried to have a ramp up in difficulty as the stage progresses, and I think there is still room for skill expression early on with breaking barrels out of order to make combos.

I first started designing it with three players in mind, but since it was my first Milastria project, I decided to go a little easier on myself with only two players. The center part of the stage could easily be converted to a third player.
I would like to put it on other servers! I think you have to progress through the story far enough on each server to access Miliastra? I'll need to look into it. Since I'm only level 2 Craftsperson I can't add achievements or rankings yet, but maybe putting it on more servers would help me level up faster.
If you're doing it in single player, you should click on the "Ready" sign and wait ten seconds. There's a bit of a delay in case you have a second player that is slower to load in.
Two of the three pieces of road start in position, one at each path starting point. The shorter path one runs its path one time for 10 seconds before starting at the beginning of the longer path. All pieces of road loop on the longer path every 30 seconds. The third piece of road appears from being invisible and starts running on the longer path after 20 seconds.
And now since I've revealed my stage secrets, I'd appreciate if you left a thumbs up on the stage so maybe I can get to Craftsperson lvl 3. 😄
