Not Liben rocking sunglasses since almost the start of the game
Also they're cool and detached.

Are you telling me that Liben was this jacked from the start but when hoyo created Arataki Itto, they went with noodle arms?

imagine if they'd have given itto just a fraction of liben's aura

Because they hadn’t made a muscular man model for a playable character up until that point, and they generally prefer thinner, smoother skinned guys over in those regions anyway so they decided to make him less muscular and more smooth. Also, the fact that he was laughed at so hard that they made model changes in the beta (His abs ACTUALLY had no contouring, it’s better now but not amazing), they took note of this and started making select male characters beefier, Alhaitham, Wriothesley and Varka, Dr. Ratio, Mydei and Phainon in HSR, and like half of the male cast in ZZZ were all made after Itto who was probably the first time they’d made a male character design that tried to be less twinky
This is just an explanation, however, not really an excuse because they’ve been given loads of time to fix Itto’s model and they just haven’t. I wish they’d make him look just a teeny bit bigger, make his arms beefier, make him the same model type as Varka, so taller too, but until then, I’m just gonna use the age old cope of “He’s an oni with naturally high strength, and he eats grilled lavender melon all the time so he likely doesn’t get the nutrients he needs to bulk up”
