Does death even exist??

I've been rerolling for lunar arcana when I could, no less than fifty times by now. These are just SOME of the screenshots I remembered to take JUST FROM THIS WEEK ALONE. T_T

At this point, I'm convinced XIII : Death card just doesn't exist. I know they're just cosmetic/ collectibles with no use whatsoever but I just want Ronova ffs

Ever since the second lunar mode IT rotation, I learned that you could reroll the theater if you end performance without claiming an arcana. So I've been doing just that. Act 6, no ronova, reset, repeat. No luck so far. Back in October I claimed the pyro dragon one. Then in November I rerolled and just claimed the Justice card after 10 or so tries. In December I just gave up after 20+ resets and settled for Istaroth because I can't spend my holidays rolling RNG. I'm also F2P, so while bearable, it's not a cakewalk to reset either.

Now I resetted like 40 times since the new year. What even are the odds for one card to not appear after 67 or 69 attempts? The IT in-game tutorial states that the characters participating in the mode can affect which lunar arcana appear to a certain extent but not once did death show up for me, EVER. I think Ronova just hates me XD

TLDR: Rerolled theater for 67 times and never got Death card

I do know that mechanic. Do u have info on how exactly the rates work? Is it like genuinely impossible to get a card if they're not on the pool or do they just get a small rate up boost if they're on the list based on the characters?

According to comment from shared link your current IT characters generates sub-set of cards, then during IT run you randomly get two cards from that sub-set. So it possible that Death not in your current sub-set of cards, I think

I had a choice between Death and Sun this IT, here are the characters I used if it helps:
Ororon, Gaming, Lisa, Xiangling, Candace, Kuki, Aino, Furina, Collei, Varesa, Xianyun, Xingqiu, Chevreuse, Fischl, Arle, Yoimiya Diluc, Keqing, Durin, Mona, Barbara (plus all of the starting cast)

It's just math. The chances of getting #13 Death and any other card is 1/11, or about 9%. The chances of getting #13 Death with a specific card (say #1 The Magician) is 1 in (22 choose 2), or 1 in 231.

also what do you mean reroll? if you reset you get different arcana's for this month? isnt thats why you can trade them with other players

if it helps, maybe you can find someone in your friendlist to trade for the card you want instead of rerolling. since characters affect the card pool, maybe the ones you use in IT just dont seem to generate it.
