Why do primos dodge me
I absolutely despise farming primos in genshin. Its such a pain to explore every region in an open world game where most of the areas are quest locked so you gotta spend more time and sometimes the world quests matter and have insane lore so you gotta spend even more time paying attention to them. I care about alot about the lore of genshin and stuff so automatically quests alone are exhausting but the primos? Theyre js disgusting. Every single time i resort to exploration for primos i spend so damn long trying to figure out one chest from the other and what chest i have and havent opened yet. I explore with the interactive map, i finish the archon quest for a region and i try to finish every world quest in the region, i watch a bazillion yt tutorials and guides, heck i literally even have a stupid f2p exploration team (sayu, iansan, ifa, kachina for climbing until i get xilonen) i use this rarely for every region in general but specifically in natlan. My average primo per hour rate is so low (~350 primos per hour in natlan rn) and i cant seem to do anything about it but when my friend does exploration in her account she gets ~1400 primos per hour in natlan. Add to that ive been playing for almost a year (cause of my mans wriothesley) and i only have 8 5-stars (navia, lauma, nahida, furina, c1 tighnari, diluc, dehya which i lost to in xilonen banner this version, qiqi today from standard banner) i keep mfing losing in a row every single time at high pity never below 83 except for my first ever 5 star, navia, at 19 pity but still its so draining watching all my hard work go down the drain like that every single time makes me js wanna quit. The reason im saying this just now not earlier is cause that same friend just got 3 5-stars in one 10 pull about 15 minutes ago… and she got jean as her 3rd 5 star so shes now guaranteed columbina. Im happy for her and everything ofc but like xilonen’s banner is almost over and im on 26 pity with xilonen, i prefarmed everything PERFECTLYYY i js need to get her for my navia team and later neuvi team and im done w my account but no my luck decides to give me the worst time of my life. I spend sometimes a whole day for just primos and all i get is about 1100 primos. What am i doing so wrong in exploration that gives me so little primos per hour? Help me please😭 (completely f2p player status)

Also, plan your pulls, it should be a maximum of 3 or 4 5 stars per version, ideally, one on the first half and other on the second half with their weapons, if you want to pull two characters that come out at the same time, then start saving half a version in advance, research if they are good f2p options for weapons, which normally have, and think if you really need the weapon or not.
My advice is to stop playing the game like it's a job. Take your time. Accept that you won't get everything you want unless you open up your wallet. You said you enjoy the lore, so do that. The reward is the enjoyment of the story, not the 30 primogems at the end.
I mean, sure, it's just a wall of ranting, so no much lost in skim-reading, but still.
I get that there are people who speedrun their explorations, but generally you're supposed to take time exploring. Some people even dislike Fontaine because exploring it feels too easy and doesn't give you the satisfaction from completing intriguing and complex puzzles like in Inazuma or Sumeru.
You can't exactly treat Genshin like other simpler games where you can sweep the contents to farm for gacha currency. That's just not how the game is designed to be played.
Wanting to skip the story is understandable. But wanting to skip exploration in an exploration game is just beyond my comprehension.
Plenty of players have already cleared all the game's content. They CANNOT get more Primogems by exploration, because there aren't any to get. So how do they get Primogems?
Daily commissions. Periodic events. Some delve into endgame stuff like Spiral Abyss to pick up a few.
If you hate searching for chests, just stop, and enter this stage early. Limit yourself to the same Primogems that late-game players are limited to.
