Exactly. Even more specifically "When the user creates a geo shield" and while it should be crit damage it should give a passive 16/20/24/28/32% increased shield strength as it's first ability.

passive shield str on wep is bad because of how genshin does things. Only the equipped user can benefit from the effect, meaning it only increases zhongli's shield while he's onfield
Its also why zhongli gives shield strength to other teammates, and part of the reason why his shield ehp is as high as it is

Give the weapon an HP% stat, and then give all the juicy buffs in the passive that requires the user to create a shield. Done.
The only polearm characters that can directly benefit are Zhongli and Thoma. And my bro Thoma needs the buff anyways.

The funny thing is I only pulled for Zhongli because I got his sig. And I only got his sig because I hit pity on the weapon banner trying to get The Unforged (I misunderstood the passive and thought it would be good on Noelle). Terrible waste of primos but at least Zhongli was useful. :')

Love their 4\*, being lore related and passive catered to them; sucks for new players. HYV needs to bring event weapons back once they get old events working, if they are doing that... Hate the gimmicky event weapons, 4\* characters need their signatures too and after Klee's it's been mostly meh. Where are the 3\* regional weapons after Monstadt and Liyue? Was lucky enough to get Lost Prayers to the Sacred Winds from Standard for Klee and Albedo rocking his 4\*; but them being Hex, they may eventually get Hex exclusive 5\*.
