Does capturing radiance preserve pity?
I got capturing radiance recently (my most recent gold) and heard that when you get it, you still keep your pity from before you got the capturing radiance. Is that true? I’m hoping it is, but given what I’ve observed from hoyo from playing this game for five years, I don’t expect it to be so.

Same with its 50/50.
For all intent and purposes you can just think you won a 50/50 when it triggers. Pity is back to 0 like a normal 50/50 win.
There's basically 2 steps here
1) Did you get a 5\*, then, 2) Is the 5\* a limited or a standard
Pity affects step 1.
CR affects step 2.
Pity is reset to 0 any time you get ***any*** 5\*, standard or limited, CR or not.
Your pity is gone before CR has anything to say about the outcome.
If you get any five star, your pity resets. Capturing Radiance or otherwise doesn't change the fact that you pulled a five star and that's what resets your pity.
