What are these arrows?

Sometimes I notice these arrows on some of my characters but I have never known what causes them. Does anyone know?

Btw mode, I didn’t use the question mega thread because it wouldn’t let me post pictures and considering there is other yellow arrows like in the character menu and idk how to explain it without pic).

So many things could probably cause this, but it’s some kind of buff.

Buffs are listed in icon form above your health bar, but it could be something like food buffs, weapon buffs, buffs from someone like Bennet, etc.

What if it’s constantly on a character and I haven’t used any foods and don’t have anyone currently buffing them on my team?

Apparently it’s my weapon doing it. I appreciate your replies, sorry I didn’t include enough info in the original post. I realize my second paragraph looked like I had a stroke when I wrote it too but it wont let me edit it.

I do yes. I just took it off and the arrows are gone. Thank you for answering. Do you happen to know what on the weapon is causing it to happen?

The passive of deathmatch gives you ATK. Or ATK and DEF depending on how many enemies are around.

Its constant. You can't disable it

you should show who your team is, their weapons their artifacts so that people can pinpoint it exactly, because that up arrow is some kind of buff

Sorry, I didn’t realize that would be needed. So I tried switching people out and it stays no matter who is on my team. Someone told me it may be my weapon currently equipped: deathmatch. They were right. I’m still curious to know what causes it though. Is it just some kinds of buffs that cause them?

with Deathmatch, you'll get buffs depending on how many enemies there are.

So that should be the buff that causes it, there could be some other buffs along with it depending on the team. But if you removed Deathmatch and the arrows are gone, then yes, it's the buffs from the weapon. 😊

These arrows mean there is a buff on you.

You can also see enemies have downwards arrows if you apply a debuff to them (res shread for example).

This is a generic buff effect. You get this effect an almost all buffs, except the ones that have their own visual effects.

Any form of buff will give this visual indicator typically. If you lower and enemies res, youll see the down arrows on them to show its active too!
