Yea I don't think it's "missing the connection" to point out how the game is largely pushing fantasy Magnetism with Columbina/nod krai, but then make her kit be about gravity.

Two fundamentally different forces.

Lunar-Charged comes out to similar damage to Electro-Charged, and has only been good because direct Lunar-Charged damage from a character's kit is multiplied by 3.

Lunar Bloom is literally the normal bloom reaction except it charges Verdant Dew for characters whose kits they are relevant to (Nefer, Lauma, Columbina). Nefer and Columbina spend it on charged attacks, Lauma on her hold skill. So if you skipped the other Lunar characters, it is only relevant for onfield DPS Columbina.

Lunar Crystalized seems to be the only one that is an actual upgrade to the normal reaction, since normal Crystalized does zero damage.

Flins and Nefer already work wonders without her, especially Flins, whereas Nefer needs her extra charged attack charges

So you can have Flins Ineffa one side and Columbina Nefer/Lauma in the other side, or Zibai

Not really nefer doesn't need extra, the buffs in her team is enough for E>3CD>Q>E>3CD, and you would have enough charges because you used time on the burst. Having extra charges won't enables you to do more cause of the E cooldown

Columbina sounds like she's going to be good, but I am a little disappointed the last 3 Archon level characters have been E+Q supports with near 0 field time (without cons). She used teleportation throughout the story quests, but it's completely absent in her kit.

I wasn't including Skirk there. Hoyo has consistently included Columbina with the other Archons since Nod-Krai was teased, but Skirk hasn't been given that same treatment.

Fair on Mavuika though, I forgot about her there. TBF, she can be played as an EQ support, but doesn't have to be and is very popular as an on-field dps.

Many characters have c6 effects but they’re usually very small, like extra particles or a glowing bracelet or something.

Hers just effects the moons on her skills ring. Noticeable but nothing crazy so you don’t feel like you’re missing out

When she uses her burst, it gives the whole team a new bar for 3 moonridge dew. It's right under Verdant dew. You can only gain 3 moonridge per cycle. It basically only matters if you have nefer and Lauma. I could be very wrong, but I'm not sure Bina can consume all the dew by herself. Only Nefer eats them that fast.

I think she's a future-proof character. She can enable any lunar reaction when paired with dendro/elecro/geo characters.

But I will likely just use her for Vape teams. She has good damage and can consistently apply hydro in a large AoE.
No joke. I'm thinking of slamming Golden Troupe artifacts on her and making her into an E bot.
