Continuity problem?

Hi, mi friend started playing about a month ago, now he finished Sumeru Archon quest and the next one is ALBEDO TRIAL Archon quest but that's impossible because this trial is After Simulanka which is AFTER Fontaine (Because there is Navia who knows us) so why did Mihoyo put this Albedo Trial quest before Fontaine? This doesnt make any sense!

You are mis-informed. Now that Nod Krai is the newest nation, you can't quick-start Natlan anymore. You can't even quick-start the Welkin Moon Prelude quest with Ineffa, which means if you started now and chose to quick-start, the game puts you with Ineffa in Act 1 with only the little title-card introduction.

The purpose of Quick-start is to get new players who join the game because they saw cool Nod Krai tidbits on social media to be able to access them right away. And also have a chance to get the limited-time rewards for completing the quests right away. And also be exposed to all the newest playable characters that are on banners currently, in case they interest the player enough to make them want to pull them. There's no reason to have the player be able to jump to Natlan, because there are no longer any extra rewards, and there wouldn't be any new Natlan marketing either.

If you saw Durin marketing and joined the game to pull Durin, you'd probably want to do his quest right away to learn more about him. And doing so this patch gives you materials for free, so you can also level him up easily and use him as your 'main' in the early game.

OP said "you cant quick start an old quest like that", and you replied by saying "You can." then supplied a source that explicitly says you can only quick-start the quest **before the Version 6.0 update**. Now that it is after the 6.0 update, the quick-start option for Paralogism is no longer available.

As I said in another comment, the only pre-requisite for Paralogism is Inversion of Genesis, which is part of Sumeru. (And Albedo's story quest, which is Mondstadt) So it was 'naturally' unlocked at the right time, not quick-started.

The trial is unlocked after Inversion of Genesis, which is after Sumeru. Yes, the next logical event is Simulanka, but since that can't be replayed by new players, there's no other quests stopping you from starting Paralogism directly after. There is no other permanent in-game content required before Paralogism, or any references to previous Archon Quests. And people joke about Wanderer's quest being the pre-requisite despite him not even appearing in the quest, but it's also just the Interlude quest before this one, so it may not even be intentional.

At the end of the day, it's a live-service open-world game. There's going to be things that you can do out of sequence if you want. If you don't like that, you can choose not to do quests 'early'. But most world quests are made to be unrelated to Archon and other quests anyway, so that if you stumble upon them, you can do them without spoiling the main story, and shouldn't have to look up a quest order guide to do them 'correctly'.

Chronologically it does, but for a new player it makes 0 difference since they can't do Simulanka nor any Fontaine cast & any lore bit from that segment regarding the Fontaine cast is involved in this.

Pretty sure he can still do Fontaine first before Paralogism, because that's what I did once I finished Sumeru few months back. I only did Paralogism after I finished Fontaine before going to Nod Krai.

It's been a while, so I don't exactly remember how it goes, but it definitely did not force me into Paralogism. The only reason I started Paralogism later was because I think Nod Krai mention it as kind of a pre req quest or something.

Maybe you can ask if your friend can turn on focus mode for Fontaine quest.

Once you quick start an AQ, that AQ exists independently from wherever you are in the main AQ line. You can have both enabled at the same time.

In fact I remember a point where on my alt account I had 5 different AQ in my quest log at the same time.
