Daily Questions Megathread (January 07, 2026)
Ask about anything about the game that doesn't necessarily require a dedicated thread.
That is, if your question can be answered rather quickly/without significant difficulty (e.g. "Can my phone run this game?"), ask here. If you think your question can contribute to some constructive discussions (e.g. "What do you think of Amber's combat efficiency? Here's my opinion."), make a particular post with the "discussion" flair.

Can I gamble for C2 or should I just play safe with C0R1?
My plan was to stop and saves it if I lose attempting C1, but that means I'll be missing the R1 cus I won't have enough.
Although tbh I mostly just want C2 or R1 for the aesthetics 🥲
I thought since cons are harder to get I was thinking should I try my shot, or as I was saying, play safe.
Would probably use it most as subdps or even onfield if I'm on overworld/niche scenarios like IT.
1 on 1 I'd actually consider cons easier, or at least safer to try for. For weapons you really need to have 160 pulls leftover, otherwise weapon banner is too dangerous to risk. For cons you can safely gamble with whatever you do have, no big loss even if you don't get them.
Assuming of course you already have a decent roster before going for cons/sigs, and aren't spending money on this game just for drip and slightly bigger numbers.
And yeah fair point with the Ineffa's R1.
Thanks!
show what you have,
take a screenshot(hoyolab character page would be better than ingame) and put it on a site like imgur or something, and share the link
then we can suggest teams. not much point saying random teams without knowing what you have
expected to work with Varka later (expected 6.4 afaik), if youre asking to think of future pulls
there is a phone app for this too
you log in with your hoyoverse account
hoyolab is the only way to check your characters outside the game
besides that, you get daily checkin rewards
i dont pay much attention to anything else you can do
you do need it for some events i think?
to be determined
Otherwise, just put him with any other element DPS and he'll do decently, as long as you're triggering reactions with Pyro + the DPS' element for his shred. Having a 2nd witch for the extra shred is nice, but by no means necessary. (And not even something you can unlock until you level him and the other witch to lvl 70 and do their quest) Just keep in mind that many teams with Hydro or Cryo app might not allow him to react with the right elements, especially Geo or Anemo.
Once you get to endgame and get witch buffs and 5* artifacts, Mona, Durin, Sucrose, Bennett is probably ideal. Any other resist shredder or Anemo can replace Sucrose, and Bennett can also be substituted for another ATK buffer, but none are as good as him. Fischl in this team could work to give ATK and EM buffs, less than either Bennett or Sucrose alone but still something. (Edit: and her buff applies to the whole team, unlike Bennett's burst buff only working for the on-fielder Mona and not Durin who deals the most damage)
Ineffa is also a solid option for this team to add a shield, EM buff and a ton of damage, or a good option to start working on your second team.
Otherwise, people expect Varka to work well with Durin, so if Ineffa, Columbina or Zibai don't interest you, save up your pulls for Varka maybe?
I got
Ryzen 7 7800x3d
Rtx 4070 ti super (16gb)
32gigs of ram
No, as an on-field hypercarry.
The ones I'm looking at for cons are Nilou and Klee, while the ones I don't own but somewhat interested are Miko, Baizhu, Shenhe, and Albedo.
With Banner 1 revealed, I'm looking to get both Bina and Ineffa (got guaranteed and radiance), definitely saving for Sandrone, while I'm split between Varka and Nicole.
Klee, notably with Fischl is worth using now in overload
you need one good or two decent characters for every two stages of your chosen difficulty. and as many fillers as you can manage. extra is good too
consider the free ones you dont personally own and use as decent, and you can borrow one very strong one, thats best used for two bosses.
gets easier the more fillers you can raise from bare minimum(70) to decent, so lets say 80, with some talents to at least 6 and a raised weapon
Sure it helps your characters are built but you can literally toss a level 70 character in lunar IT and send them to fight a boss and get a stella because that character is only a (moral) support to the main dps who carry it. If primos is your goal, it's easier. If it's stella, you really need them built. Basically half ass build means clear with no stella. Built means clear with stella. Either way you get your primos.
Edit: i just checked. Last IT cycle, i brought arle sucrose fischl layla to fight the first boss. Sucrose was using my dps build all the way back from 1.x. "what the hell is EM?". Layla? I gave her hp mainstat artifacts and closed my eyes as I spam level up. That team got a stella lol
For IT, level up characters to lvl 70 until requirements met, and give diverse buffing artifacts (noblesse, scroll, tenacity, instructors, Petra etc.) to the useless characters so at the very least your DPS is properly buffed. For 12 stars I'd say you need about 5 strong DPS at worst. Sometimes they give decent DPS like with mavuika rn, and the 4th act is always free. Try to minimize use of DPS, if the act is *way* too easy, try to beat it with a weaker DPS. Also helps to know what bosses you encounter or the possible enemies, so I'd check homdgcat if you're that desperate.
For stygian, honestly the best way is through getting shilled characters. Like for baptist you have nefer, for bird you have venti and durin, for plunge boss is varesa. You can check the next stygians in advance through homdgcat (if it's on v3, it's practically confirmed). Or brute force with top <5% characters, but even this is still dependable (will easily clear menacing but not fearless)
For abyss, it's also through shilled characters but tbh, it's much easily brute forced by brute forcing units like skirk and varesa (maybe mavu if enemy is applicable with cryo). A decent shilled build should get you ok, and a great brute force build should get you ok. You can also check in advance to maybe build what team you will be using for the abyss.
Though if you need to take a rest, it seems much better to just take a rest and not worry too much about returnee rewards. Otherwise it turns your 'rest' into merely being different playtime.
Why my neuvillete skill duration resets sometimes in battle
I press E and then the duration goes for a second or two and then I am able to use his skill again
One in Aino's workshop, other in the Frostmoon Scions' camp and the last one on Flins' lighthouse.
They don't have the usual reputation symbol, instead they have a round icon
Which one you pick depends on what team you have.
If you have esco on standby, get ayaka.
If you have c6 chev on standby, get klee.
But this is assuming that you use them for entirely DPS purposes. Klee can still serve as a support due to her being able to shred + use ttds, so if you have neither esco or c6 chev, I'd personally recommend picking klee.
Furina sig is kind of useless for Xilonen (only her dash on using the skill, does skill damage, nothing else)
Jade cutter also does nothing, Xilonen is a def scaler, the atk giving passive is useless
passives are useless, besides that, both only give crit from substat, both having about equivalent amount
crit rate has more value, so Jade cutter is better
reached AR45 today so I got her quick [Gilded Dream](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Gilded_Dreams) with acceptable stats set since it's easy to get, now I saw some people recommend [Silken Moon](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Silken_Moon%27s_Serenade) to ineffa, worth getting for her or should I focus on Sucrose & Fischl's set?
also what's the artifacts will columbina use if someone know?
(don't have Flins btw)
1. Pull for Columbina OR ineffa, preferebly which ever one is more universal and can help my flins benefit a bit, so I can use them in future teams.
2. Completely skip next patch and save everything for mauvika since she will probably get a re run before columbina and then try to get columbina on her re run.
Some poeple also suggested that I dump everything into getting both columbina and ineffa for a flins premium which will do more damage and than a mauvika team but then id have no 2nd team and no primos left lol.
after that, try Columbina but stop in case of lost 50/50?
If the sole goal is to boost Flins' team, I would go for Ineffa. The nice thing about going for her is that she's also just an excellent stand-alone unit, so if you find that your Flins team is fine without her for specific pieces of content, you can easily shift her into a second team.
Speaking of that second team, Columbina + Ineffa is possibly the strongest wheelchair core we've ever gotten. You can on-field anyone and clear purely through the sub-dps power of those two. That doesn't mean you can't go for Mavuika, especially since a pyro team will be a completely different elemental combination, but if the sole goal is to create a second team then Columbina + Ineffa is a real consideration.
Another part to consider is if you're planning to get any other Lunar characters? Columbina's value goes up the more Lunar characters you have, so even if your Flins doesn't needer her, if you plan to get Lauma or Zibai they would both really like Columbina.
The nice thing about Mavuika is that with her and Citlali you have two fairly flexible units. Mav can either be a hypercarry or a support, while Citlali's cry app and shielding can go in a lot of teams, so you aren't locked into Lunar teams like you would be if you went for Ineffa/Columbina. (Ineffa by herself is completely fine outside of Lunar teams as well).
We also don't know when Mavuika+Citlali with both rerun. I don't think it's unreasonable to guess that it would be within the next few months, but what if that's not the case? what if only Mavuika reruns without Citlali?
At the end of the day, both options will lead to you getting powerful teams, so I'd just go with whichever you like more. Power creep will keep slowly creeping, but both Mavuika/Citlali or Ineffa/Columbina should be good for a long time to come.
I didn't think about it before, but overload Mavuika is probably really good with Ineffa if you don't get Citlali, so she'd have application there too. Something like Mavuika/Chevy/Bennett(or Iansan)/Ineffa probably slaps. Especially if you get a high investment c0r1 Mavuika with your savings.
Ineffa is definitely an upgrade for Flins though, regardless, so being able to flex her in a Mavuika team is a bonus. Adding c0r0 Ineffa to a c0r0 Flins team is expected to be somewhere around a ~20% dps increase.
And just being an electro shielder with solid damage makes her very flexible. Out of all the Nod Krai units so far, I think Ineffa is the one with the most application outside of dedicated Lunar teams.
cause you dont have a good weapon or that good of a team for Itto
Raiden helps the rest of the team burst, so you could afford trying to get some more HP on Furina and Yelan, increasing team damage, not that i know specific numbers
\- 10 wishes in time-limited banner
\- 20 wishes in standard banner
now, can anyone tell me about the thing yall call like "guaranteed ...", "50/50", "pity"? 🥹 thank you... and i hope yall dont find this annoying im really confused
The limited pity is shared between current and future banners, meaning its 10 for both Varesa and Xilonen and if you do no more pulls it will also be 10 on Columbina and Ineffa banner.
The pity is just a count from last time you got a 5*.
It's good to know as you are guaranteed to get a 5* under 90(hard pity) pulls and around 70(soft pity) pulls the chance get 5* goes significantly up.
But the guaranteed character under 90 pulls doesn't mean you get the promoted 5* on limited banner, you still have 50:50 between any standard 5* and the promoted limited 5*. If you win the 50:50 great you will get the limited 5* you wanted. But if you lose you will get a standard 5* and will need to get another 5*, which can against cost up to 90 pulls.
But this time you really have guarantee as there is no 50:50.
There is also capturing radiance, which in simple terms mean that occasionally you will get the limited 5* even if you 'lose' 50:50.
One important thing don't use primogems on blue fates/standard banner, you should use it only on pink fates/limited banner.
Few other things, when you lose the 50:50 on limited banner, the guarantee that next character will be the one promoted is shared between banners same as pity.
There's a bunch of different banner types; Each has their own counter and mechanics. Rotating ones change every 3 weeks.
Standard banner: Has all the Standard stuff, does not rotate. (Recommended to not spend primogems here, mainly because other banners have the same stuff and more). It takes up to 90 wishes to get a 5-star, when you do it's a random one from all the ones in the Standard pool. There is also some system that over long time (270 wishes) you will always get at least one weapon and one character.
Character banner: Has characters (who knew?). Both limited character banners do share pity, and are effectively the same banner, only difference being which limited 5-star is available on them. It takes up to 90 wishes to get a 5-star. When you get a 5-star, it's a 50/50 chance of being the limited character on the banner, or a random one from the Standard pool. If you got a Standard one, your next 5-star is guaranteed to be the limited one. This guarantee does carry over across banner rotations. So it can take up to 180 pulls to get a limited character, if you lose the 50/50 and go 90 both times.
(On character banner there is also Captured Radiance, TL:DR is it's a mechanic preventing from losing too many 50/50's in a row. Requires separate post to properly explain if wanted.)
Weapon banner: Has weapons (shocking). You select one of the 2 limited weapons to go for. It takes up to 80 wishes to get a 5-star. When you get a 5-star, it's a 37.5% chance of being the one you went for, 37.5% of being the other limited, and 25% chance of being a random Standard one. If you didn't get the one you went for, you get a fate point for your aimed weapon. Fate point does guarantee next 5-star will be the one you are aimed at, but will expire at end of banner. If you got a Standard one, you also have a separate lesser guarantee that next 5-star will be a limited one; This does carry over to future banners, but without the fate point it'll still only be a 50/50 between the two. (And with the fate point it's redundant.).
Recommended to avoid pulling weapons if you don't have 160 spare pulls, else you risk wasting your pulls for nothing if you lose the worse-than-50/50 and have the fate point expire.
Occasionally there is also Chronicled Wish. Chronicled Wish contains a bunch of (older) 5-stars, so far always region-themed. It's somewhat similar to weapon banner; You select a 5-star to aim for. When you get a 5-star, it's a 50/50 between your choice, or a random other 5-star of the same type (weapon/character) on the banner. If you didn't get your chosen 5-star, you get a fate point, fate point guarantees your next 5-star but expires at end of banner.
Only use purple wishes/primogems to wish for limited characters you want. You can't really mess anything up and you don't need to know or manage any of those mechanics/terms. It's an easy enough game you can focus on the characters you want first, then flesh out teams around them.
A more detailed answer:
* Only use purple wishes/primogems on character banners.
* Only use blue wishes for Standard.
* Only wish for banners with a limited 5-star character you actively want.
* Never wish on a banner with a limited 5-star character you actively DON'T want (often to "build pity," which isn't a thing, or hoping for a 1/9 featured 4-star)
* On average it takes 62 wishes to get any 5-star, but heavily skewed to the 75-80 range which will be the case about 50% of the time.
* Including 50:50+guarantee+capturing radiance, it's 90 wishes on average to get a limited 5-star but a high end max of around 160 (technically 180 but that's never happened). If there's a character you REALLY REALLY want, maybe keep a savings of 100 wishes (can save the rest in time between announcement and character being available).
* F2P gets ~600 wishes from all permanent content and another 70-90 per patch (about 600 a year).
* Don't wish on weapon banner.
* If you do wish on weapon banner, both featured 5-star weapons should be very desirable.
* Never wish on weapon banner unless you can hit pity twice (about 150-160 wishes saved up). Same for chronicle banner (about 160 wishes saved up).
* Characters relegate to Chronicle banner are often much weaker than newer/meta characters. Go for one only if you REALLY like a character on the banner.
* New characters>Constellations or Signature weapons.
* Don't consider constellations and signature weapon for at least a year after starting and for a rerun after you get a character. It'll give you time to really find out what and how helpful a pull would be.
* Don't let FOMO get to you. You wont be able to get everyone. But you don't need everyone. And characters will rerun (eventually).
It generates Icy Quills, a stacked buff that characters consume to add Additive Damage to their normal damage. The term Quill has since been appropriated by the community to refer to any damage buff that has a similar function of giving Additive Damage.
Does anyone know why some characters are still missing voice lines? From what I can find it was near 9 months ago that the strikes stopped and other missing voice lines like in Natlan were fixed, why are half the Mondstat characters still missing voices?
If you're planning on getting Flins because you like Flins, then Ineffa is more important than Columbina. But you still can get by with Columbina w/o Ineffa if that's what you want to do.
But if you just want a Lunar Charged team, Ineffa and Columbina is already strong.
But if you actually want to use Mona somewhere then sure, go for it
the other option would be genshin cloud:
Characters like Mav/Kinich/Gaming/Navia/Freminet/Dehya/Eula/Diluc/Razor/Beidou/Chongyun can see benefit from it. Additionally, there are supports that could potentially hold and trigger the passive (teamwide attack) that could be beneficial depending on your use case.
So I only recently started pulling for weapons (pls no hate) and got my Arle her signature weapon (yay) - been leveling it up and one of the items required is still smoldering Hilt which basically can only be obtained by defeating those knight golems in the petrichor island which only has 2 of them above ground
Lets just say I’m hella patient, and been collecting daily to level her weapon up
And because I’m focusing on the archon quests of Nod Krai I just parked that quest in the castle which allows you to go through the mirror and enter sea of bygone era
But now that her weapon is level 80, and I need to get 27 of the still smoldering hilt, I thought fuck it let me farm from the two knights, I thought this whole “blood, sweat and tears” approach to get her weapon levelled up was on par with Arle’s style lmao
But now I can suddenly see those knights highlighted in sea of bygone era, and I actually entered it?
Idk if Hoyo is just kind like that or am I missing something? Are they watching me suffer and thought oh let’s just unlock it for her fuck it
Note: I do recognise the region from somewhere, I remember I had to save the whale or something - so I must’ve unlocked it before? Does anyone remember?
Also does this mean I don’t have to do the quest anymore? I’m hella confused
Well, thats demotivating, just when i saw cool feature
still during a time with unvoiced stuff, i think
now i’m actually starting to enjoy it, and i wanted to ask, roughly how many primogems can i get from all the available content if i play through everything? and how long do you think it would take to catch up to my friends who are already AR60?
I’ve been playing for about a week and just reached Inazuma
But Varesa is fun to play, fairly F2P friendly just to get working, and will be absolutely fine for anything except the hardest of endgames.
Her banner also contain 2 of her best teammates (Chev, Iansan) and you can always use Pyro Traveler as budget 4th so you can have a full team ready just wishing on her banner. Even the weapon banner, even if you get Xilonen's weapon you can slap it on traveler for some party buff.
The game has significant powercreep. Imho you are better off going for either Columbina+Ineffa (+potentially Flins, but a perfectly played C1R1 Hu Tao would be not far behind) or Columbina+Zibai (IF your supports for her, like C6 Gorou and Zhongli).
I keep hearing Columbina+Ineffa is like really really good combo as sub dps for any character is it worth wishing for both at once?
I really dont think I would ever pull for flinns or nefer, hyper specialized DPS dont appeal to me but supports and sup dps are more future proof in my mind
I really dont have a good way to deal with lunar reactions for the endgame stuff we do I keep having borrow Ineffa to deal with that duck boss in IT for example.
- Pull Columbina+Ineffa and play Columbina on-field with Lauma and Ineffa. Not the best team in the game, but shokld be better than using Columbina Ineffa wheelchair (with an old C0 carry).
- if you have Nilou, pull Columbina and play her with Lauma Nilou. Team is just ok in single target though.
- Pull Columbina, wait for Nefer rerun. This is a top team, but it might take a bunch of patches for her rerun.
- Pull Columbina+Ineffa, abandon Lauma, pull Flins in 6.4. Top team, but 3 pulls in 2 patches.
- Pull Columbina, abandon Lauma, pull Zibai. Depending on what you have available (e.g., Gorou C6, Zhongli, etc.) close to the top; potentially best in the game IF they later release a dedicated 5* support (Sandrone?).
I dont like pulling for specialized DPS and feeling locked into one team that cant swap characters around so I would say Nefer and Flins are skip for sure, sub dps and supports interests me much more.
Zibai I would consider though even though she's specialized because I don't have a single strong Geo Carry, I do not have Zhongli I do have Gorou c6 though
i used [twilight.su/checklist](http://twilight.su/checklist) for the images below, this is what i'm workin' with at the moment:

i've wanted columbina to be playable ever since winter night's lazzo was released. my game-spending funds is kaput, send hopium, i'mma need it D: lmao
eta: i'm also getting her for my baizhu team
Also, what should I be selecting on the other screen? Arle is my primary main rn.
As for Artifacts to define, we can't answer that with just "Arlecchino is my main." That depends on your current build and what stat(s) need correction, if you even *want* or *need* to bother using it to finish or upgrade their Artifact set. Many will tell you to "never use it to make flowers or feathers," but I don't entirely subscribe to that line of thinking. Those two Artifact types are lower priority, sure, but I say make them if that's what you need.
As for build, right now it's just the automatic generated suggestions. I saw they're each different costs, I have two now, I assume you think I should save up for that 4-cost one rather than getting those two 1-cost ones?
I'm not up-to-date on Arle's recommended builds, but KQM and an optimizer would probably be better sources than I.
It's mostly about what pieces you're missing. Transmuter is great for finishing a build with the final missing piece. Typically you'll have already enough decent Flowers and Feathers, while the extra main stat rng makes it a lot rarer to find sands/ goblets/circlets with all the stats you want.
Is there some piece of obscure lore that says Phanes is a dude? Or is it just because Phanes kind of looks/sounds like Phainon, and Phanes might be an expy of him?
(Edit): To be clear, I am saying that the word "Phanes" looks and sounds similar to the word "Phainon," I am not saying Phanes themselves looks similar to Phainon, on account of the fact we haven't seem them yet.
2. Other Greek and Greek-adjacent names like Aristophanes and Eratosthenes are associated with men. A feminine version of the name would probably be something like Phanea.
by default by many, uncertain gender will be called a him
without putting much thought into it
not much can be done about that
Edit: I suppose yes, it depends on your luck with Illuga cons. But I'm pretty sure Zibai without Illuga is still pretty good if you have other Geo alternatives. And Zibai + C2 Illuga (on her banner) + C1 Aino (probably on Bina's banner) is still better than Nefer without Lauma.
Now, if both Illuga and Gorou are on banner, AND you decide to pull for C2 Zibai instead... the chance of getting C6 Illuga goes way up and this might make more sense. For this reason - and given that Columbina adds less to Zibai compared to the other teams - it might make more sense to forgo Columbina and just focus on Zibai cons if that is what you want to play.
So yknow, for some specific quest from Fontaine, you have to finish some sumeru quests and commissions. And to unlock these commissions, you gotta finish the quest "Garcia's paean" From liyue. And i have this problem.. I remember finishing that quest in liyue long ago, like i barely do. And when i check the place where the quest appears, it doesn't. I tried to do the time skip thing many times just to be sure and nothing appeared. So, I've set sumeru as my main daily commission region or whatever but i haven't gotten any Garcia commissions and it's been like 4 days? Soo am i doing something wrong? Or is it just my luck and i just have to wait?
hex that can be used in lunar teams? yes, in that case
I’m coming back to Genshin Impact after almost 2 years of not playing, and I’m about to start Fontaine.
A lot seems to have changed, and I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed 😅
I’d really appreciate some guidance on what I should know before jumping in.
Things I’d like help with:
• Major changes or additions in the last 2 years (gameplay, systems, QoL, etc.)
• What’s new in Fontaine that’s important to know early
• Artifacts:
• I keep hearing about a new artifact system / strongbox changes / new mechanics
• How does artifact farming work now compared to before?
• What should a returning player focus on instead of wasting resin?
For context:
• I’m a casual player, mostly here for exploration and story
• Not hardcore meta, but I don’t want to play completely inefficiently either
Any tips, beginner-again advice, or things you wish you knew when you returned would help a lot.
There are a lot of things that have been QoL upgrades over the two years, so condensing it would be somewhat difficult. The commission system is a bit better (you can condense resin and then go talk to Katherine and you have completed your commissions for the day), crafting recipes are a bit easier to find (you can sort by characters to see what each needs), there are ways to "craft" artifacts so that you can avoid awful luck along with ways to reroll the rolls that they went into. More sets have been added to the strong box which makes it nice to get some older sets while still going for new sets. There are two new game modes with one being Imaginarium Theater being a game mode that rewards accounts with a lot of different characters and stygian onslaught that rewards accounts that build for damage output. Lots of new characters, mechanics, interactions and exploration to run around with.
I’d say the most important things are the time sensitive stuff like the events, as everything else can be done whenever.

Regarding artifacts, notice the introduction of stygian onslaught in 5.7. It's a boss-focused endgame mode that has 6 difficulty levels that, if you were previously clearing abyss floor 12, are approximately:
- Trivial
- Trivial
- Trivial
- Comparable to abyss 12
- Abyss 12 +50% dps check
- Whales / god gamers / heavily favored matchups only
Stygian opens one week into every patch and is available until the end of the patch. The first 10 days that it is open, every boss kill of at least difficulty 3 (which is as easy as the usual lv 90 artifact domain) gives you the option of cashing in rewards as if you'd cleared an artifact domain *of your choice*, ***with a freebie artifact every 6th.*** In other words, while that 10-day period is active, you do all your artifact farming in stygian and preferably dump all your available resin into it while doing other sorts of farming some other time. If you're ever going to spend fragile resins for artifacts, do it in stygian.
Artifacts have also seen two sorts of guarantee systems added. [One](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Sanctifying_Elixir) lets you spawn in a new artifact of a given main stat + 2 secondaries. [The other](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Dust_of_Enlightenment) lets you re-randomize what an existing maxed artifact rolls into. These items are gained mostly from endgame stuff including stygian and imaginarium theater (an endgame mode that emphasises having lots of decently invested characters, as opposed to a small number of heavily optimized teams). Hoyo's pretty stingy about it, and frankly you should not worry too much about the whole thing. Good old fashioned grinding -- in stygian while it's up -- is still the bread & butter.
E: I totally forgot about the commission rework with encounter points. Added that to the table under 4.1, but it's worth elaborating on.
Previously, your basic daily was to do 4 commission quests and spend your resin on something useful. That'd be on top of longer-term stuff like doing (archon/story) quests, exploration, and temporary events. Nowadays when you do those long term things, you get stamps; "encounter points". Opening a single chest in the overworld is half a stamp, completing an archon or story quests is 4 stamps in one go -- the amount you get for activities varies but you'll see how it works out soon enough. Then you hand in 4 full stamps to Katheryne to get rewards as if you did 4 commission quests. In other words, you can just go straight to longer-term goals without having to do that bit of daily busywork.
Now, what if you've already finished your 4 stamps for the day and cashed them in, but you still do more stamp-earning activities? Then those stamps go on the pile of *long-term encounter points*. On a fresh new day when you haven't filled your stamps yet, for every 30 resin that you spend, one long-term encounter point is redeemed to fill a stamp. In other words, as long as you have these long term points, you can log on, go spend 120 resin on whatever you like, and have that fill your 4 stamps. And of course you want to be spending your resin (average of 180 a day) *anyway*.
Anybody noticed that the performance in PS5 went down recently (like the past few days) for hoyo games (genshin, HSR & ZZZ)? I noticed my ping was at 600-700 & it lags so bad there's a 1-2 secs delay to my button inputs when switching characters & registering damage.
At first I thought it was my device problem, maybe it overheated? But then I ran wuwa and got 60ms ping and no performance issue.
the bosses we have that require LC so far, all work with regular Electro charge too
nothing requires full lunar team, you outright want some not lunar teammates, buffs the reactions based on some stat depending on what element
there is that specific zombie looking boss and mobs that want two NK teammates, irrelevant which, irrelevant which reaction, you just want the ascendant gleam
Some bosses benefit from his mechanics, but plenty of other are neutral and everything will have a few different ways to approach it

Lauma is also hard nerfed Nahida into bench (she buffs bloom/hb/burgeon damage when only NK character, or she enables good Columbina on-field damage when together).
Variety is not important. And Hutao, Xiao, Wanderer are not meta and not considered "strong". Venti is currently best anemo dps before Varka release.
the NK dps set will make Clorinde overcap rather easily
could be nice with Ineffa, i wouldnt use Columbina with Clorinde without her
cause as is, i am not sure Clorinde could even surpass an onfield Sucrose and Fischl with Columbina and just adding the free Aino, and team having ascendant gleam. Aino(if c1+) +Sucrose+ Fischl all giving an EM buff too
but SMS could be held by anyone, and the new set is better on Ineffa, but could be used by both her and Columbina
Sucrose probably still best last, but VV still seems better idea than putting SMS on her
so Columbina seems best SMS holder
