Where is Paimon during anecdotes??

Idk if I just missed it at some point, but do yall know where she is? or is it just like a thing that we're probably supposed to look past ? lol I mean, if so, that's fine I guess I'm just asking to see if maybe I missed it. I also can't remember if I saw her in any of the other ones lolll also as we know she def. does not like being away from us since it makes her very anxious and she def. seems to not mind having to witness us uhhhh do our thing kekeke soooo yeah where is she? :o or do yall remember her being in some anecdotes ? I have shit memory T\^T

I was thinking the same thing-

I came to the conclusion she went to get snacks while the traveler encountered the others, lmao. Although it may not be accurate/correct answer

Paimon is missing in a lot of Hangout Quests. It's not unusual actually. Same with anecdotes.

Oddly enough Paimon is present in Skirk's, Ineffa's, and Shenhe's anecdotes.

Most of the anecdotes were written during writers/voice actors strike and the then paimon was... Surely one of the persons of all time. They probably tried to remove paimons on screen time and for that matter, removed her completely from the anecdotes. You see that quite often happening during Natlan. Mauvikas Archon quest for example, where the tournament happens, paimon is nearly saying nothing at all. Same with the saurian quest.

Why would Chinese writers care about what's going on the the Americans?

DonAzoth2026-01-07 16:30

Ah ... Of course. That's it. That's also why there was no voice over last year. Because the Chinese writers did not care. /s

There not being voices and characters being straight up absent are two completely different matters, no?

Paimon is out getting snacks, writing her novel or doing her studies.

Yes she canonically is studying according to alhaitham birthday cards and the voice lines for traveler confirms she is also an aspiring novelist.

So with many potential hobbies it's definitely possible she's doing any number of then.

I’m so proud of Paimon. Girl has an aspiring future

Real-Contest49142026-01-07 14:19

When traveler inevitably leaves, maybe paimon can join in other worlds and become a pokemon trainer lol.

What pokemon type would be well suited for her Mr Golden owl,

Speed control electric, glass cannon ice or offensive rock.

Golden-Owl2026-01-07 14:21

Fairy, because she’s basically the size of one

Real-Contest49142026-01-07 14:31

Alright I've made the team for her.

Klefki
Azumarill with huge power
Gadrevoire mega
Xerneas
Togekiss

And the last one is a Silvally named traveler lol who can chanhe elements.

Paimon out here doing her own little side quests and setting herself up for when we inevitably have to leave Teyvat

TrashySheep2026-01-08 06:18

Paimon will write a gourmet book about Teyvat and name it As I've eaten.

Usual_Presentation532026-01-07 14:03

I imagine they just want the focus on other characters rather than Paimon & The Traveler for once

Neospanner2026-01-07 14:52

The answer is always sweet madame coma.
