I started playing in 2.1 When Yae launched for the first time
Wanted to ask Why do Jean and Rosaria have different skins,Like iirc there was issues regarding rosaria bust in her skin but why did jean get the gunhilder skin aside from her regular skin?Was there a reason for that?

whats funny is that they only cared to do that then, cause of some official complaints at the time
then we got some more revealing characters later on

it was due to censorship before, skins that were affected were jean, rosaria, mona, amber. but it's so funny how the censorship is being ignored over the years based on how they design female characters now

CN censor version, other servers got the Chinese versions as skins, other than Jean and Rosaria, Mona and Amber also have additional skins for that reason

Mona: outfit had emphasis on ass.

Rosaria: fishnets and Booba were probably considered too risqué. Censorship skin was also her second “nerf”. Rosie got it rough.

Jean: no more cleavage. Baked-in groin shadow is also removed.

Amber: cleavage and ass creases were covered.

Jean likely got hit with the censorship because she’s an important figure in the story early on. We since more revealing characters later so it was likely just doing the bare minimum to appease the whims of a vocal few.
