I don't like Nod-krai

I dunno, for some reason I just don't like it. The spaceship, the lunar reactions... it's ruining the main 7 elements, and the spaceship? Like, what? didn't some unknown god just put us into the game? there was no spaceship. And a lot of people hated Natlan because it has motorcycles, DJ booth and all that technology?. but I never heard anyone say same thing about Nod-krai. it has powerful AI robots and technologies that are out of this world. I don't know why it's so hyped. It's my opinion, please don't put me in a monkey house, I just don't get it

See you in Snezhnaya.

MofoPro2026-01-07 16:07

Found a story skipper , it has been known for a long time the twins came from outer space with a spaceship .

Its OK not to like a region and Lunar reactions are just that another reaction, you still have the older gameplay reactions, it’s not like rhey took anything away to add Lunar.

Not sure what a monkey house is but you might deserve it from disinformation 🤣

Yet another person who skipped 3 quarters of the AQ Quests in the game.

akindertale2026-01-07 16:10

For all that it's worth, the AI robot core did originate from Natlan, Aino just built the body and carapace surrounding Ineffa.

As for the motorcycles and DJ Booth, I think the reason why a lot of people found it off-putting was that it was just suddenly added in? There wasn't enough context previously to indicate that Natlan was a highly technological nation beforehand.

I also think in general the Nod Krai character designs are better than the Natlan ones so people are more forgiving of whatever faults there are.

The_Great_Ravioli2026-01-07 16:10

Lunar reactions are not "ruining" anything. It is the same concept of Nilou teams where they modify reactions.

Robots have been around since 1.x. High tech stuff have been around since Sumeru, or arguably Inazuma.

It's been known forever the twins come from outside teyvat. How else did you think they came to Teyvat? Spaceships where even explicitly mentioned in Natlan.

People hated Natlan over Skin color and Capitano losing, and they just used that as a vehicle to nitpick about everything.

It's your opinion, but for skipping story and literally not paying attention to the world at all, you go in the "Monkey house"

WootyMcWoot2026-01-07 16:10

> didn't some unknown god just put us into the game?

Do you even pay attention to what’s on the screen?

SanicHegehag2026-01-07 16:12

WTF is a Monkey House?

Usual_Presentation532026-01-07 16:59

Haha 🤣 lmk when you find out

Sanmiie2026-01-07 16:12

We are allowed to have our own preferences. You don’t need to like what everyone else does. Don’t force yourself if you don’t like it.

But on the other note I highly recommend watching at least some of lore YouTubers to fill up the gaps in understanding the plot, as it seems like you aren’t too invested when it comes to lore, at least based on what you said about the unknown god and the spaceship. Of course, if you’re interested in the plot.

Early_Department89752026-01-07 16:12

And I thought I was very bad at reading...

Slush_Magic2026-01-07 16:13

The spaceship's new info but the twins were always world travelers, honestly the only issue I have with it is it's a weird clash of aesthetic to introduce a sci-fi element like a spaceship when it's not really reflected in the twins' designs that they'd utilize a spaceship. I think the Nod-Krai tech's fine since it's not a bunch of circuitry tech in the hands of primal looking tribes.

4GRJ2026-01-07 16:14

I could slightly agree on you on the spaceship part until you mentioned Asmoday putting us in Teyvat

Where were you whenever it gets mentioned that the twins are from outer space?

LonelyPanda_062026-01-07 16:15

bruh, someone's a lore skipper (or just doesn't pay attention to the story)

Namiko-Yuki2026-01-07 16:53

"the unkown god put us into the game"
This goes beyond just lore skipping, this means the attention span didn't even last past the opening cutscene where Paimon explained what happened in the opening cutscene based on what traveler told her....

LonelyPanda_062026-01-07 16:58

trueee hahaha this person could just be rage baiting ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Lin_Mie2026-01-07 16:15

Lore skipper should just not question about lore lmaoo 🤣🤣

maddudy2026-01-07 16:20

only thing i really hate is the lunar reactions and monster that force you to use it otherwise they can't be killed quickly or easy. also force you to roll for lunar characters or you can't beat IT/SG

eefuns2026-01-07 16:27

as you may know, many stories and informations are hidden behind in game texts, they can be from books , artifacts descriptions and etc. these scattered informations are building blocks for us to piece together genshin's lore. despite existing lore that we currently have, there are still many unresolve lore. nodkrai is a region where the developers intend to tied these "loose threads" together.

you are already doing great by question how travellers got to teyvat, what have they experience before meeting the sustainer of heavely principles. keep it up

edit: got down voted 🥀

Gold_Pineapple76442026-01-07 16:40

Travelers arrive in Teyvat. We dont know what happened, but they woke up in different times.

Sibling wakes up first without memories, apparently already outside the spaceship, and becomes Prince/Princess of Khaenriah. Regain memories later, goes to find Traveler that is still sleeping in the spaceship.

Khaenriah is inviting the Abyss into the world, Sibling runs away and wakes Traveler up to rush and leave the world since shits happening.

Khaenriah cataclysm happens, Sustainer shows up and stops them from leaving, separating them again.

Don't skip lore guys. And honestly, I'm not even sure I got everything right! It's so complicated with the time shenanigans.

ankitjad2026-01-07 16:48

Mf Don't even bother read and blames the game, typical casuals

Powerful-Insect-48672026-01-07 16:51

Well, that life for ya. Most of people in teyvat poop in bucket, using wood cart to move stuff around, never heard of industrial revolution or knowing what is electric meanwhile Ineffa having 128gb ram (64x2) ddr5 and built-in RTX 5090Ti
