Varessa or Flins?

I'm f2p and IN DIRE need of a DPS. I have no So while varessa is still here I'll take the chance to ask this...should I wait for flins or just pull for varessa now? Which of the 2 is stronger? Ty!!

Btw: I have no fontaine, natlan, and nod krai characters btw cuz I took a 4yr break

Man, this is gonna start debates for sure. The correct answer is, who do you like? Do you like flins more or Varesa? Her banner has the four stars that she really likes in her teams so that's a plus. However. Ineffa is coming up, and i kinda think it's best to get her to help deal with all the current nod krai mechanics.

Flins in much stronger but only if you also get columbina and ineffa. He’s now equaling mavuika’s level. Varesa is a lot more versatile electro dps, while flins is specifically for lunar charged. So, if you want raw power electro dps, then flins but you’d need to get those 2 other characters.

Just need Ineffa to make him the better than Varesa, especially this account that doesn’t even have Mavuika or C6 Iansan and Chevreuse

Varesa's playstyle is quicker than Flins. Also her main supports are on her banner (Iansan and Chev). You already have Xiangling so she can be the off field pyro. It's also a positive that you don't necessarily need constellations on any of those characters.

Flins can be played without Ineffa, but really prefers Ineffa on his team. He will also want Columbina so another limited 5\*.

I would say Varesa is easier to build for a f2p. Flins has the higher ceiling, but requires multiple limited 5\* characters to reach it.

I agree with everything you said about Varesa, but Flins also did have everything he needed in his banner as well to achieve a similar Varesa does with the bread&butter overload team (no C6 on chev or iansan), and chances are he will again.

Best option is varesa if she's available now, Idk she got a rerun recently.
Nodkrai fella got stronger than her but needs high investment, if you're willing then only pull him

From someone who has both C2R1. Do you love any of them? Going to list a few things and hope it helps you to decide

Varesa's team is cheaper and she hits big numbers even without Mavuika. Like her 2 Bis are on the banner with her now. She is easy to play and of course, amazing to explore with (even if you run pass everything lol)

Flins enables Lunar charged, and that is the reaction having a lot of checks in Abyss and SO. He is strong, but his Bis will have 2 5-star considering Bina coming next banner.

Also, note that there is no content made for Flins that I wasn't able to easily clear with Varesa too. It doesn't always work the other way around.

Now, if you love Flins and have to choose, wait for him and pull Ineffa next banner (she will also help on the wait as a lunar support). If you still have exploration to do and also like Varesa I would go with her, especially if you are F2p.

I find Varesa a lot funner to play so I pulled her and her weapon. But no doubt she is less meta. Electro charge, lunar charge, and lunar damage in general has so much shilling now. My account has been hurting bad since I skipped Ineffa.

Varesa is a much stronger dps. But Columbina and Zibai are about to come out. And Ineffa is much more versatile as well.

A completed Flins team will outdamage a completed Varesa team, but Flins is a relatively smaller share of damage in his own teams, i.e. the power budget is relatively more spread out, whereas Varesa is more of a hypercarry than Flins.

In other words, Varesa will be stronger faster, but Flins teams will be stronger with more investment. Also, as a rule of thumb, in gacha games in general, newer characters are almost always going to be stronger.

Varesa is alot more versatile, can run overload or furina xianyun

Varesa is on the banner right now and her team is really cheap especially if u are aiming C2+ u will get her whole team naturally..

If you have lauma team dont pull for flins because he will also need columbina

If you dont have any nodkrai, just pull ineffa and columbina next patch and wait for flins rerun
