Which characters should I prioritise for investment?

Even though I’ve been playing since launch, I never really cared about the meta until recently. I’m not a huge fan of endgame modes, so I didn’t put much effort into building my characters. However, the recent IT update with Arcana cards gave me the motivation to come back to the game and unbrick my account.

I’m adding a full list of my characters so it’s easier to see their constellations and which ones could fit into different teams. It’s also worth noting that I’m planning to pull for Columbina with Ineffa in the next update, as well as Flins and Escoffier in the near future.

Most of my level 90 5-stars have somewhat decent builds, along with Bennett, Xiangling, Xingqiu, and Fischl. Everyone else is using whatever scraps I can find. So my question is: which characters should I build first (aside from Varesa and Skirk, whom I’m currently working on), which ones are optional, and which ones aren’t really worth investing in?

Sucrose, Aino, Cheveruse are all solid options to build if you haven't started already

I'm no Arcana expert as I hate Imaginarium Theater for forcing you to play characters you have zero desire to play, and then also playing then in less than ideal team comps making them feel even worse than they already are to play. ...but you're definitely going to want to get as many characters to lvl 70 as possible so you can even START Lunar Mode at all, since you need 28-32 characters to do so ....and they have to be 3 elements that you have enough of, so you might only be able to attempt Lunar Mode on the months where it picks your highest amount of characters, and allows them to play together. Might want to count your characters per element and see which need more to help qualify if different combinations were to be picked, cause you might have to sit out every other month, depending on the line up of elements they choose.

Chevreuse, Iansan, Aino, Ororon, Thoma (if you get his C6), Faruzan (if you are planning to play/pull Anemo DPS), Sara, Kuki, Layla (if you get her C4) and Sucrose (shes BiS for Flins Team)
Oh and its pretty worth investing more in Rosaria, Fischl, Xingqiu, Xiangling (idk how good they are built, but its never wrong to invest more in them).
