A good habit in genshin is to collect every material you came across, cause just the casual exploring should give you enough resources for the rest of the game, if you do tea pot just be mindful to use easily accessible materials such as things that can be bought

A much better advice is that you should cycle your character expeditions from time to time, to get a lot of the basic materials. You can get sunsettias from Inazuma and sumeru 👍

The seeds were just such a pain to buy, each one separately, new window opens, drag slider up to five, buy, seed obtained x5 pops up, repeat for like 30 times, every week.
Idk I just stopped doing it, I know it got kind of better recently with the slider being automatically at 5, but still there should be a purchase all on that screen or something similar.

You don’t have to buy the seeds if you equip this next time you harvest in the open world. It gives you one seed for most plants (certain types excluded) so you basically get a 2 for 1 deal. Then you can always have something growing in your teapot for convenience.

It only stores max 40 seeds of each type at a time btw.

I meannnnn honestly same usually. But whenever I’m forced to submit materials I don’t have, I go on a seed gathering spree. So my rotation is 1 commission for stupid achievements (I’ll get you one day SHITou 👹)> convert resin > collect teapot stuff > log off. Then use condensed every other day for artifacts.

My world is all 100% and I’ve done most achievements so there not much do do unless I feel like building characters 🤷‍♀️

there's a good recipe that only requires ingredients you can buy from stores, which eliminates the need to farm as long as you have spare mora for grocery runs! you need to complete a quest in Fontaine first though

just fyi in case you don't already know, there's a quest in Fontaine that, upon completion, gives you a great food recipe with ingredients that only contains things you can buy from general goods stores, so there's no need to farm anymore! as long as you have mora you can cook hundreds of this dish lol
