what's up with new players these days?

What's up with new Genshin players these days? So I posted this picture of Raiden. It's from 2023, one of the last times that I played the game, and why am I getting so much hate for reminiscing about old Genshin? Like, if you're a new player, it's because you did not experience growing up with the game and seeing it evolve from just Mondstadt and Liyue into this very big map that we have now. And over time, it's just that everything felt so repetitive and more like a task rather than something that gave me pleasure playing it, hence why I quit. And why are you guys even calling me a bot? LOL. Like, here's proof that I'm not. Like, this was genuinely one of the best times I had in Genshin before completely quitting, and I actually still have the game installed on my PC. However, the feel is just not the same anymore, hence why I didn't return to the game despire missing it. But I still love it, and it was a tremendous big part of my life during the pandemic. Genshin was a community that made fun of bugs, mcdonalds profile pictures, cooking with xiao, and all of those fun peak genshin moments. why be so toxic? LOL

also, i stopped playing coz since the pandemic, I HAD AN ACTUAL LIFE. and life isnt about doing your daily commissions and doing the abyss anymore. stop being so triggered.

I did a quick scroll and couldn't find it but it was basically the Raiden image and OP saying something along the lines of "I miss Genshin." The comments were mostly people saying "Then play it" lol.

I personally don't think it's such a big deal considering this is kinda what subreddit is usually like, but 🤷‍♀️.

Ok so.... I am also old player playing since pandemic and i still play it

I just do the story and exploration when new region comes and for commisions they are automatic now

And i am casual so i don't really care about having the "best builds"

And i have a life and play other games aswell playing genshin

What is with retired players these days? They complain about the game and the community instead of actually playing the game. Genshin is still here, if you miss it, then play it. There is no need to announce your departure. we don't care. It’s binary: you either play or you don't. This isn't a therapy session, and frankly, nobody cares about your personal drama.
