The secret to drawing hair is to add enough layers until it looks good. That is how hair stylist do things too, each 'region' on your head is treated with a different technique, using different styling tools
Or, if youre just doing a simplified outline with reduced forms (ie like this drawing), just loosen your grip, be confident and draw organic shapes (leaves, circles, ovals, etc). Think of calligraphy, not a full drawing with proper composition and tones

I never really thought about it but you have a point. The Nefer drawing feels pretty similar, like that doodle style, so that one doesn’t seem too far-fetched. The Arle drawing feels like a different style compared to the others and his Flins drawing though. Still I can’t really think of anyone else in the line-up who would draw her like that. Most of them barely know her. Maybe he just had a random burst of artistic inspiration for that one drawing?
