I have the opposite issue...I can never stock up on artifact exp because I cannot fight the voices in my head telling me to level/strongbox pieces because I /MIGHT/ get an upgrade.

I don't even know what to strongbox at this point because I'm pretty satisfied with the state of most of my characters at the moment :(((( (Maybe more VV???? For Sucrose/Lan Yan I guess?????)

Very very jealous. xD I don't think I'll ever be satisfied with my characters. Especially with Stygian being so hard, I need to minmax them to be able to beat Fearless.

I would strongbox Noblesse, Tenacity of the Millelith, or Golden Troupe. These will almost always be usefull and you kinda want crit subs on them.

How are you even having this issue? They did a change a couple patches ago that revealed the 4th stat on all artifacts. You should be hard filtering and trashing anything with multiple useless substats.
One of the first things I did when that change happened was find every artifact with 2 flat stats that wasn't double crit and junked them. Got rid of a good 500+ artifacts this way.

I think at this point I’ve hoarded so many, it’s just daunting to pick through it all. Although I might once they make Skirk’s artifact domain strongboxable. My luck is so ass.

If am artifact has 1 good stat, its trash.
You can try and gamble it but you tend to lose out on artifact exp since lvl'd artifacts are only worth around ~70% of the exp you used on it.
It kinad adds up if you do it several time.
A safe bet is on and artifact with 3 good substat. And an artifact with 2 good substats is a coin flip.
Its best to throw away artifacts with 1 good stat as even if everything rolls on that one good stat, an artifact with 2-3 good substat would still have a higher value if it rolled the same.

Trash your artifacts that only have 1 good substat since you can now see the hidden substat. That is no longer usable.

I hit 2400 every few days, have too many good ones with 3-4 good substats. I do trash all the defense/phys %/ healing ones. Anything without crit gone, anything with 2 bad ones gone... Now I'm just boxing all the old sets one by one that I think I probably won't use from pre 4.0.

Its addition hasn't been announced but the fact there's a new artifact set being added means there's a decent chance it sneaks into the patch notes.

Nah Arlecchino & Navia's sets were added when Varessa & Skirk's domains appeared, but the addition wasn't leaked by anyone I think?

If it doesn’t have at least 3 good stats I trashed them. And I stop hoarding good Def% or HP% on artifacts that give like Atk%.
I Just accept that it is rarely worth it

I fodder anything not double crit, DEF on non Def scaling and flat stats. And even then I'm still at 1500.

If an artifact has one crit stat and energy recharge i'll usually keep it. everything else is boxed

You probably have a ton of crap artifacts, try to build your chars and convert the shit ones to the artifacts of the chars you are investing
