Do you have Fischl or Surcose? If not I'd go for one of them. Both are amazing 4 star support.
If I had to pick I'd chose Fischl slightly over Surcose. But you won't go wrong with either one.

Fischl*

You're very new so will no doubt get the others soon anyway. I'd go fischl personally she's a very easy to use character
Strange-Pen12002026-01-08 12:22
Fischl is a great pick in the early game I found. And she's still pretty useful later on.
blueandgoldilocks2026-01-08 12:23
Fischl and Sucrose are both great supports
MisterSpacemanStuff2026-01-08 12:23
First, if you own one but not the others, cut that out of the choice.
Next, consider which character you *like* the most. Pick that one.
If that doesn't make any jump out, next consider what they do and whether that speaks to you.
Razor is primarily a DPS, mixing Physical and Electro damage. Fischl can also be that, but she is typically a sub-DPS, casting her bird and then going off-field. Sucrose is one of the most highly regarded supports. She's cast and swap. Swirl focus.
If that doesn't tip the scales, pick Fischl. She's a great choice, a good enabler for other characters, doesn't demand her own team, and works with Jean. Sucrose is a high demand pick, but she doesn't seem like she'd supplement your current characters much. Razor demands more focus.
heyaooo2026-01-08 12:25
Since you just recently started playing , I would suggest picking Fischl, she is really good support and wont need to switch to Amber to do bow stuff if pyro not needed.
wphxyx2026-01-08 12:27
Sucrose if you don't have her.
If you already have Sucrose, Fischl.
If you already have Sucrose and you have Fischl at C6, then you can choose freely between Razor and Sucrose.
The initial Sucrose is very valuable, but IMO her constellations aren't important. Fischl is good, and her constellations are also very good, so its good to have many copies.
Razor is okay, and subsequent Sucrose cons are also okay. So you can pick whichever you like between those two.
Given your existing characters, Fischl is probably your best bet for building good teams. Sucrose is also very good, but you already have anemo elemental coverage with Jean so there's a compelling argument to branch out for Electro. But Sucrose has a very useful passive for crafting ascension materials, which over the course of the game will save you a lot when you level up characters.
Akira_draws2026-01-08 13:03
I don’t have either of them
I’ve seen a lot of people say to get Fischl
So might choose her
Vakhoris2026-01-08 14:00
If you don't have either, I'd suggest going for Sucrose. As of the current state of the game, Sucrose will be more valuable to you. She is used over other 5 star anemo supports.
Fischl is great, but a number of her numbers come from her constellations, including the C6 so even if you get her now, you won't get the premium Fischl experience just yet. Sucrose also can use a bunch of different weapons since her damage doesn't really matter while fischl's damage matters a bit and she works as a great battery for other electro Units.
It's a tough choice for sure, but go with Sucrose for now.
The_4th_Wonderland2026-01-08 14:16
I actually disagree with Sucrose > Fischl specifically because OP is very new and owns neither
Might as well pick Fischl since getting her dupes has significantly higher value than Sucrose
Sucrose C0 is pretty much the same character as C6 so if they get another copy of her it basically voids the selector
At the stage OP is at theyre so new anyway that they wont be playing any premium teams and Fischl is much more helpful to a new account than Sucrose
wphxyx2026-01-08 14:26
That's true, but Sucrose's crafting passive is very handy to have, and the earlier you get it the handier it is. Grinding out ascension mats is an absolute pain at lower adventure ranks. And that value never really goes away. That's why I think 1 Sucrose if you have neither is better value, not for teambuilding at all, but purely for that passive. The teambuilding is just a nice bonus.
Ryuunoru2026-01-08 20:48
100% Fischl. Ignore the dude rambling about Sucrose - she's great, but Fischl is much more useful.

Sucrose C0 > Fischl
--Sekiro--2026-01-08 12:36
Fischl is a great electro- application.
Sucrose is another one great anemo- mixer.
Razor is mostly a "warrior" who use his skills from time to time to make the damage.
For the beginning team I'd say - go with Sucrose she will help with reactions. Later you definitely will get Fischl and use her in many advanced teams. Razor will be good with Cryo-Electro characters because super-conduct will allow to Razor makes more physical damage.
Akira_draws2026-01-08 13:05
Is it okay to have 2 anemo characters in my team is the question since I already have Jean
--Sekiro--2026-01-08 13:32
More than okay. Don't get hung up on the elements; look at how the characters work. Jean can heal too, which could make a competition to Noelle and Barbara. Who will you choose from this point of view? )
Jean is a strong healer, but she doesn't mix the elements as actively. Sucrose is a great mixer and easier to use, but she won't heal you. Noelle could heal and give you a good shield, but Anemo and Geo don't use at the same time usually. Barbara is a great healer and hydro-applicator but you can be frosted by her skill.
In the end, you can develop and put two characters of the same element into a team and get a bonus. Something like: Jean-Sucrose-Barbara-Keya/Fischl will works great at the beginning. Or it could be: Noelle-Sucrose-Barbara/Keya/Fischl (2 of 3).
Comfortable-Most-7942026-01-08 12:37
In few months as u get more primogems, you won't use the characters u have right now. So get Fischl because she can be in any team. As u have Jean, u don't need to prioritise Sucrose. And don't take Razor
Conscious_Face_5512026-01-08 12:41
Sucrose. She gives RES shred (from VV set), ATK% bonus (from TTDS) and EM buff (50+ 20% of her EM)
Purple-Preference-202026-01-08 12:44
Fischl and Sucrose for good supports, Razor for getting wolves in Wolvendom after his Hexerei quest
Squishyking1292026-01-08 12:50
U can try and around of on cons...meaning whoever has more cons but not yet at 6 u could bring them closer to c6.
Rare-Carpenter-58382026-01-09 16:36
OP is a new-er player. Chances are they don't have any of these characters, let alone their constellations.
Squishyking1292026-01-09 16:41
Aw shit uk i completely bypassed that.
Well fischl for it cause she would help alot with hyperblooms and overloads and she's a off fielder.
Razor is more on field where u need either pyro or cryo to supercunduct or overload to get damage.
And sucrose is very helpful especially with early grouping and she can do the res shred if they have 4 piece ver. Set but as u said probably not.
MercinwithaMouth2026-01-08 12:54
Whoever you like the most is the real answer. All 3 have been buffed and are great.
ankitjad2026-01-08 13:02
If you're tryna get FLins or something then get sucrose.. universally fishcl is best.
BandicootFar41262026-01-08 13:13
Maybe wait for Columbina banner to see if Fischl is rerunning on her banner.
MaJuV2026-01-08 13:18
Fischl is the greatest support character of the three. Pick her. Sucrose is also good, but in a more limited amount of teams. Razor sadly enough is not meta.
biggest_brainz2026-01-08 13:29
the useful one is between Fischl and Sucrose, but Look up their play style in Youtube you might dislike one of them.
Akira_draws2026-01-08 13:45
Yo
Just to say I’m absolute buns in bow gameplay but I feel like Fischl is better the sucrose with what yall are saying
Now my team consists of Jean, Noelle and Keaya and Barbara for emotional support
But I’ve seen ppl also say sucrose is much better
HikariSakai2026-01-08 14:41
Sucrose, next question.
justnameitwhatever2026-01-08 15:08
I was a jean main at the star until mid game, like about 4 months. Jean the on field dps and healer. i used jean-anemo traveler-kaeya-lisa. Changing lisa to fischl would be really great if i got her early back then!
Novalita_2026-01-08 15:16
Ether sucrose or fischl
Sucrose:can group up enemies and apply good swirl reactions
Fischl:far range and has oz to help with electro reactions and damage
Fun-Wafer64522026-01-08 16:54
fischl is one of the best electro appliers , especially for a 4 star, and enables new reactions in your teams. i’d say go for her. sucrose is great for resistance shred with vv, but id say first to have a solid dps/team she can work with (for example, the only team i use her on is flins cause she’s BIS). id also say fischl is easier to build, early game you can slap on an electro damage set and ER bow and slot her into your teams (swirl with jean, super-conduct with kaeya)
Classic-Pea68152026-01-08 17:00
One thing to note is both Razor and Fischl are going to be available in Paimon’s Bargains in the shop menu. They rotate characters every month and have two different ones available and they are bought through points you get when doing character pulls. Sucrose is not available in this. But there is always a chance that you may pull one of them randomly at some point.
Sea_Set_12452026-01-08 17:50
Fischl IMO is the best character on the selector because of her raven named Oz and she is very easy to build also she is probably the best battery in the game. She is easy to use too and can sub dps (you should use her as a support tho). She is good early and late game depending on your team.
Sucrose is good if you don't have a support or shredder. Some anemo characters can shred with an artifact set called Viridescent Venere (technically all can use it but it's only worth on some). Sucrose is probably the best 4 star anemo shredder tho, she is used as must if not more than 5 stars. He has grouping and teamwide EM buff (which you will definitely appreciate). You can use her as a healer or a buffer (Via Prototype amber, which is craftable and TTDS, which is TTDS).
Razor is the worst option tho. He got a really good buff and is a really good DPS but he is geared more towards hypercarry teams (Basically teams where multiple characters support one single overpowered DPS) which you will probably not have considering your new. He is a good DPS tho.
You will get a lot of DPS characters in the future (From banners mostly). Good 4 star support characters are lacking especially early game. Also in my honest opinion supports are generally better early game since your free 5 star has 3 DPSs via the free selector (Albeit except for maybe Keqing, the others do less damage for today's standards) also you can always use those supports late game.
Gregamonster2026-01-08 19:07
Sucrose is a must-have if you don't already have her because her utility passive will save you thousands of upgrade materials in the long run.
However if you do already have her, getting more copies of her doesn't change that much.
Fischl is one of the best off-field electro characters in the game, and getting duplicates of her improves her significantly.
TLDR: If you don't yet have Sucrose, get Sucrose. Otherwise get Fischl.
ilCapitanoNemo2026-01-08 22:07
Hi, if you don't have any go for Sucrose. She can do pretty much everything at C0, whereas Fischl peaks at C6. Also, being anemo, she is easier to fit into any team. Finally, even at C0 she provides great support by using the VV artifact set to shred any resistance + can hold TTDS to further buff your carry.
McBarkington2026-01-08 23:00
Personally I would always recommend Sucrose, solely because getting her is still luck based, while Fischl can be bought from starglitter shop every 6 month (january/july iirc). Wether or not it’s worth the 7 pulls is an individual question tho.
It’s simply a matter of planning for the worst case, knowing how long it took me to get some of the 4* even after years of playing.

Akira_draws2026-01-09 03:24
Yeahhh…
r0ksas2026-01-09 03:55
No anemo chars? Sucrose, dont have an electro dps? Razor... When in doubt, Fischl never disappoints
Akira_draws2026-01-09 06:45
I do have anemo characters so I chose fish
r0ksas2026-01-09 06:57
Youll never go wrong with any of them honestly but fischl has been a consistent part of the meta since day of the game even before the buffs
InukoJon2026-01-09 09:01
Fischl if you have none>Sucrose if you have Fischl>Fischl if you want cons≥Razor
DemonSlime_Rimuru2026-01-09 09:34
I'd suggest Sucrose because the others are easier to get
