Uninstalled Genshin but theres still 50gbs on my Computer that I cant figure how to get rid off

I just went through my files with TreeSize to figure out what games i could uninstall and found a folder called "Genshin Impat game" on my (D:) drive. I played this game in 2022 I think and thought I uninstalled it correctly, however theres still 50+gb in that folder. So I tried to uninstall it with Revo Uninstaller, which didnt work, because Genshin doesnt show up in the search bar. Then i tried it with BCUninstaller, which did find Genshin, however only deleted something on my (C:) drive. The 50+gb folder on my (D:) drive is still there.

Did anyone have a similar problem or knows what i should do now to get rid of the 50gbs?

It could also be indexing issue.
If on Windows you could try searching "Index" -> Indexing options -> advanced options -> Rebuild.
This might take a pretty long time and your search might work funky while it does its thing.

I've had laptops that say they have like 5gb storage available and after rebuilding shows 100gb free storage.

If it's no longer installed, running more uninstallers probably won't do anything. Idk why there's still a 50GB folder, but can you not just delete that folder and then empty your recycling bin?

Deleting the folder deletes everything in it...so do that.

As the other said, just delete the whole thing :)

Just delete it.

All the necessary registry to keep track of it is gone so no uninstalling software will ever detect it.

Basically your prior uninstall failed and somehow messed up the registry so it removed all its record but failed to remove the actual files.

Just delete the folder from your D drive.
