Nice that many are taking notice now. Back then the connections were mostly drawn to Venti instead among the Archons.
See the random four petalled flower of Albedo given focus during the Lunar Crystallize showcase in Columbina's portion of the Luna IV trailer? Nahida has the Four-Leaf Sigil. What does that control? The Boat of Consciousness.
What island, shrouded in fog, hosting moon murals of a ruined civilization, had a mysterious boat focus quest? Whose will that be?
The Dove that Holds the Branches.

oh buddy I've been on this agenda😭it's been on the back of my mind since nahidah released (mostly because they're both favorites) but the second columbina dropped in the livestream I've been telling everyone they're one in the same. down to the themes of music, memories and loneliness. even in their arcs have the same beat.
1) both characters are alone and have misinterpretations about them despite doing nothing
2) both characters are restrained by a power that exploits them
3) they form a friendship with traveler who helps them see the outside world
4) there's a celebration for them that they enjoy(nahidah getting to leave the sanctuary for the first time as its a dream, columbina being celebrated for once)
4) while this is happening, dottore is creating a replacement god/moon
5) they're restrained by dottore and the traveler loses contact with them
6) they end up being saved and are free
they even parallel eachother with their relationships.
nilou and lauma are horned devotees who are the beating heart of the respective goddesses community and sandrone and wanderer are both artifical humans made to replace a deceased person that befriend the goddess!!

Both of them were also born roughly 500 years ago making them roughly the same age.

Nahida refers to herself as the moon multiple times iirc, she's a metaphorical 4th moon of Teyvat while columbina is the avatar of one of the 3 "real" moons.

yep! and they're both rejected goddesses who take after and currently mourn their "predecessor" (rukkhadevata/signora)

The parallels between Columbina and Nahida are absolutely insane.
