What's the most recent limited character that you had very little interest on release, but now want to go for?

Ineffa's reveal definitely surprised me, I didn't expect an almost full robotic modelled character (I wish her back was metal as well). As someone who loves most Electro characters, she seemed like a great pull.

But also as someone who got tired of buying Welkins and wanted to go f2p for a while, I couldn't attempt her banner on release. Which wasn't a huge bummer as I generally was good at dodging and have good vertical investment so the Lunar Charged thing wasn't a big miss.

It was only seeing her in Nod-Krai did I really start loving her so much. I learned about her origins of "robot of dragons turned caretaker" before Nod-Krai, but then actually seeing what she considers family just MELTED ME. **She's a silly robot!** And even investment wise, she'd help with enabling more teams for me as I LOVE playing Ifa EC in the overworld but run into the issue of getting hit. I can dodge well but I also do like just standing there menacingly while a click of a button deletes enemies.

A smaller point is her VA is absolutely hilarious. Her videos with Nic (Flins VA) are so goddamn entertaining and them learning about "I'm blooming" absolutely KILLED ME!

But I lost my 50/50 sadge. I just didnt like plunge at all as a concept when I first started playing, but after using Gaming and played with Trial Varesa months ago in IT its grown on me.

I love that. That's the exact story with me and Xianyun. I loved her but could live without her as a unit, until I fell further in love with her motherly character

I stopped playing Genshin after Inazuma. Came back right when Ineffa's banner was running and without knowing who she is and what the lore was, I pulled for her cause apparently she enabled "Lunar reactions". Knowing Hoyo, I knew they were planning something new....so blindly went for it...but I didnt get cons or weapons.....but man ever since Nod Krai came out....Ineffa has been fucking amazin on all my teams. Now I wanna C6R5 her

i thought she would just be a random filler character before the new region, but after playing her story my views changed alot, especially since im a huge lore enthusiast. anw one of the best investments ive ever made, even in c0r0. lunarcharged is bonkers

Oh that's another point I forgot to mention: I don't pull for the first region units. The pattern so far has been the first limited of the regions are replaceable with Ayaka/Yoimiya (I know Kazuha is technically the first Inazuman, but not the first banner during the region's release), Tighnari, Lyney, and Mualani (who's broken on her own right but still very replaceable).

Honestly Durin. I did want him on release but not enough to pull since I'm saving for Columbina [did one ten pull just to see what happens/maybe grab Jahoda, which I didn't]. I will eventually grab him on the rerun.

I wanted and liked Ineffa too but I was already pulling for Citlali and then wanted to save for Flins, so I figured I'd just wait for her rerun.

Another is Lauma. Don't quite care for her design or character, but I have no bloom team at all and I'm realizing I kinda want one, so I might pull for her rerun too

Ineffa didn't win me over as someone I want to pull for because I hate what they're doing with the star rail 'we don't sell characters, we sell teams'. She DID win me over as a character when my initial impression was negative. Pretty handily my favorite Nod Krai character. Sandrone's the only competition, but she's going to need a good showing in the second half to have a chance of passing her.

For an actual answer, Arlecchino. At the time of her release I was just starting and I didn't want a character that was too overpowered and would just steamroll the game and her kit isn't that exciting. But I'm sitting on a ton of pulls BECAUSE I'm not interested in the new characters they're selling and hey, she is cool as fuck.

I just didn't do the story until after her banner was over and when I finished her story I was like, "Damn. I wanna pull for her now."

I didn't pull Lauma in 6.0 either because the 6.x lineup is way too stacked for me to go for someone else. But since Columbina needs a team and I didn't pull Flins or want Zibai either, I'm going down the Nefer route which needs Lauma.

It's honestly painful reading this. Reminds me of how restricting newer units are. Not as strict as a Nilou bloom team, but restricting in a sense that you won't get full potential outta the new Nod-Krai units without some other ones.

Definitely ineffa. My eyes were locked in for Nefer so i ignored her but knowing what I know now, im now torn as Im definitely getting Columbina and having ineffa on the same phase, its gonna be trouble with my limited primos.

Jahoda. In NodKrai's first trailer, I thought she was okay, but nothing special, but after doing the AQ, I was completely charmed, haha!

She made the dialogue a thousand times more engaging and funny. Now I'm praying to get her on the permanent roster or in a future event to make her a Physical DPS (I love her NA animations).

The ONLY thing I'm disappointed about is that she's Anemo, and barely better than Sucrose in C6.

BUT I agree. I kinna didn't like and/or was neutral to Jahoda from the trailer, mainly cuz I found her outfit kinna too ridiculous practically, but MAN her dialogue and faces in the AQ just made me love her so much XD her English VA is hilarious too

Also I agree her NAs are so well animated!

Definitely Ineffa

I was really losing any interest in the future characters during Natlan era, since the last character I actually liked was Xilonen, so I was pretty non enthusiastic about her even after doing her story quest. But once I started the Nod Krai AQ, seeing her interactions with Aino and constantly using Aino whose every other voice line is about Ineffa really made me like Ineffa. Now I'm torn between pulling her and Columbina since I don't really like columbina's character but I do want her for the Lunar reactions....

Ooohhh...yea I kinna feel bad whenever I use Aino and just looks for Ineffa when it like, rains and stuff in the overworld. I just feel bad for the baby 🥺

But regarding your Columbina dilemma, I believe the consensus is that Ineffa is overall a better investment for an account since she can be played in a team not fully centered on Lunar reactions? The teams I saw that work well are her with Miko+Jahoda+Furina and her with Dehya+Chevreuse+Furina. Off meta but insane damage

And regardless I personally think u should put ur love for the character as ur deciding factor for these dilemmas :D both Ineffa and Columbina are strong for ur account, BUT you seem to love Ineffa more.

But I'm not batting an eye to NK units with it's restrictive mechanics

sad that columbina's existence is for the sole purpose of buffing them, I'll get a handicapped unit

I started playing Genshin in the middle of Mavuika and Emilies banner.. I didnt get her and did 50 wishes all that I had is what it is. Rng giveth and taketh. That was before I knew what pity was.

Lauma. It's not that i had no intererest in the character, it's just that i wasn't planning on pulling Nefer and also wanted Flins, so i ended up skipping her. Then i randomly threw some pulls at Nefer's banner and managed to get her.

Let's hope it doesn't take too long for her rerun..

She, basically, straight up, doubles my damage with Nefer. If i didn't see it with my own eyes i didn't believe it.

I've played with Lauma users and there's just no way.. Too OP

Lauma's Kit was custom made for Nefer pretty much. Every single Buff coincides so well with Nefer. I have C1 Lauma, and it essentially removes the need for a healer/shield

When Xianyun came out I had less than 0 interest.

1 year later I got Xiao from chronicle (lost to him on my way to getting Shenhe). I early pulled and had a tonne of left over pulls. Cow girl looked awesome, so decided on Xianyun as well. Haven't used her much since maxxing friendship on Xiao as cowgirl's best team was overload. But I've made fantastic use of her in Imaginarium Theatre, helping me quite a lot lately, so ultimately super glad I got her. If she gets added to the free constellation thingy I'll take her to C2.

If we are talking about characters I still don't have, Hu Tao. Never wanted characters with HP drain. BUt with Citlali's shield and pyro shred and her skin, I want her. I'll try and get her if she's on her own banner. Might have to wait if she's on chronicle as my plan for the rest of Nod Krai is Bina, Escoffier (for my Skirk) R1 Nicole, R1 Sandrone and go to 50-50 on Lauma (have, but want C1. My rule on cons is I only go to 50-50. If I lose, I save guarantee for new character). I need to win 2 50-50's to guarantee all that. If I win 2 50-50s before Hu Tao gets a re-run, I'll risk it and go for her.

Lauma - I just didn't get the hype but after playing through the quests, I really like her. I pulled her for meta reasons but now that I really like her, I might get C1 next time.

Sandrone - I actually kind of dislike her personality a bit and had absolutely no interest. She's unintentinally funny though and probably has a good heart, so if her kit would work for my account I might get her.
