How much of a game changer is columbina as a support in terms of meta in long term?

I see she is a good buffer for lunar teams through early access videos in YouTube. But from what I seen she is best with nodkrai units even though her passive does improve non nodkrai teams dmg. But to see her truly shine you still need nodkrai units.

Even within nodkrai units, Lauma and Ineffa are even more better supports to their respective bloon and electro reactions and to their dps aka flins and nefer before columbina becomes the must pull.

So I am not seeing value in long term in support when it comes to units like durin, xilonen, citalali, lauma, etc. who are good supports for various teams outside of their premium units too. Correct me if I am wrong.

Lunar reactions will be for a year now till sheznaya cones into play, but I know units like xilonen, citalali, escoff , lauma would she still be good supports for next few years. Would columbina be on that level or is she someone who only shines till nodkrai before hoyo develops new reactions

I am considering getting her but need a unbaised answer.

You seem to be ignoring the fact that Lunar teams are still the top teams for DPS. With Columbina, any Lunar DPS+support duo is Mavuika level. Without Columbina but with the right support, still top 5-10. With Columbina+Ineffa, ANY character in the game is over the 100k 'meta' benchmark people have been using. Even if we get bosses that don't directly shill Lunar DPS, as long as bosses don't directly counter Lunar or have non-Hydro auras, Lunar teams will still be the highest DPS teams we have.

If you don't plan to pull at least Ineffa or Lauma, then you're right, Columbina's value is pretty low. And Lauma only works 'well' if you're on-fielding Columbina. She does buff Geo teams somewhat solo, but at best, she'll work for Lunar shill, and then be nothing but a Hydro skill bot otherwise. But you could say the exact same thing about pulling Mavuika with no other Natlan 5\* to charge her burst, that she's just a exploration traversal and Pyro skill bot, and as soon as we don't get Nightsoul shill bosses she'll be useless. And look where she is in the meta.

She is designed to complete and elevate certain teams, not to be a flexible support. Its a game changer for those teams, not for your account in general.

And yes ineffa and lauma are more important for those specific archetype, columbina is designed to work with them, not to replace them.

She is good if you have a nefer team or flins team you want to improve, for example. That is if you already have lauma or ineffa respectively. They will likely still be solid even after nod krai is over.
