I just made a Varesa overload team and I use Varesa + Chev+ Iansan + Pyro MC. What’s the rotation on this team? Does Chev need any ER? And Is Xiangling the better option here?

In this team, Chev doesn't really need ER, Traveler procs Overload before her anyway, so it's just an optional thing if you need more Pyro app. And assuming you have a decent build on Varesa, Traveler is better than Xiangling because he focuses on buffing her damage. But if your Varesa is mediocre and your XL is strong, you might see better total DPS with her instead.

Yeah, **C**harged attack **P**lunge without skill will also bounce you into the air, it's just really slow. But since you aren't using Mavuika, you don't have anything better to do to fill out the remaining time, so it's optimal to just do that. Of course outside of endgame, or if you end up losing time to a stall phase or getting staggered a lot, you can skip that part.

Tap, the purpose here is just to have off-field Pyro to keep triggering Overload to refresh Chev's shred.

The rotation with this comp is very flexable. The only important thing is triggering your cinder city set correctly depending on if u have it on Iansan or pyro MC. Just make sure an opposite element is applied before they go, so if on Iansan make sure the enemy has pyro applied by Chev/MC b4 u swap to Iansan
I use this same team and my rotation is.
Chevy hE Q > Iansan E n1 Q (u can skip the n1 with c2) > PyroMC E Q > Varesa combo
Chevy only needs ER if ur using noblese on her for the buff, if using song of days past u dont need any.
I prefer pyroMC to Xiangling cus my XL isnt c4 and she needs more ER compared to MC. PyroMC is easier to use and XL has higher dmg ceiling when built imo.

man this team is complicated.. i did build it too, just run out of resin for now to complete it.
i did read somewhere else that you have to start with electro to get the hE buff from chevy, thats why i did start with iansan which also holds the scroll set.. now you confuse me and i don't know what to do anymore haha
maybe i will just start with traveler into iansan into chevy into varesa
so you guys do 2 plunge attacks and then Q on varessa? my Q would be ready after a single plunge attack, maybe its because shes C2, should i Q after every plunge or not?

And you pretty much just wanna always do the short ult(non animation one) when u can on varesa so after every empowered E plunge when the short version comes available if u have the energy pop it. Since u mention having c2 varesa u can sQ (short ult) after every plunge if u have the energy.
