Is condensed resin not necessary anymore?

Today I was playing and I noticed how I didn’t have any condensed resin, so the ley lines and domains just simply gave me the option of using 1 fragile resin for 3 times the reward for which it used to require a condensed resin before.

If this is a new update then what will condensed resin be useful for?

Condensing your regular resin?

Yep😅

1) Fragile Resin are a limited resource, most people prefer to save them for when they really need them. Either for new characters, or for Stygian artifact farming

2) Condensed Resin still lets you use your natural resin faster, since you still need to spend that to not overcap

Okay! Thanks for explaining…. I clearly forgot how fragile resin are limited😭

I mean, fragile resin (limited resource, but you can stock up on them) versus condensed resin (constantly regenerating resin, max 5), two separate things

I feel like a better argument would be condensed resin vs domain now being able to use 40 resin

to do 1 min dailies? craft condensed and claim daily reward? stock up 5 condensed for a certain, stupid timegated domain?

you can save it for the next stygian onslaught when it allows you to farm artifacts or when you don't feel to do domain in some days . I often save 5 condenses and 2 tea pot resin before new version Stygian opened so yeah

Condensed resin is very useful for us hardcore players who will have saved 5 condensed 2 fragile resin as starter resin for new artifacts I will have then normal resin 200(180+), 2 fragile resins from 2 weeks before update they can stay 14 days and 300 resin in form of 5 condensed resin

What happens when you run out of fragile resin? Lol, this is a silly question. Firstly, condensing resin was **never** necessary. It only existed as a QoL feature.

Fragile resin and original resin are two different things. Fragile resin can be kept indefinitely as an item, while original resin caps out and this is the resin you’re supposed to spend daily before needing to resort to fragile resin.

Condensed resin exists as a quick way to store original resin for later use, if you are too busy to play for a long time that day, or if you are waiting for Stygian Onslaught’s bonus artifact domains (which also accept condensed resin).

Got it! Thanks😅

Something tells me you don’t understand the difference between condensed resin and fragile resin

LopsidedAct58602026-01-09 11:09

I sort of forgot that difference when I originally posted the question 😭

Condensed rein let you use 60 rein per domain while you can only use 40 natural resin per domain. It's still faster.

When I have to do dailies at 5:40 in the morning, which is almost everyday for me, condecing resin makes my dailies a one minute task.
