Who in here uses HoyoLab forum and how do you think of it?

I used to use it a lot, but I think I don't like it anymore. The reason is that they seem to allow certain things that are forbidden here, dispite being the official forum. Like AI generated content or NSFW or shippings not everyone might be okay with and other things. And reporting these helps nothing, because they don't care. They HAVE Anti NSFW rules, but the same image is still there one week after, even tho you reported it multiple times.
They HAVE rules for Copyright matters, but AI is okay, although AI steals from existing data.

Also the fact that you can't disable preview images buggs me. I don't like spoilers and seeing new characters before they are in game is a spoiler for me too, so I always risk being spoiled when opening the app.

What are you guys' opinion about HoyoLab?

Produces some of the unfunny shit you've seen and some of them bleed to here

even glancing at the top topics doing the daily check-ins has taken years off my life

Quite frankly, that platform is hardly moderated. There's hardly even quality posts there with decent posts being from official accts, community managers (?) and some artists. Otherwise it's just reposts from other platforms and spams.

yeah... tbh the moment hoyo allowed obtaining e-merchs via posts is the moment it became a trashy site. kinda understandable bc they need site traffic but the solution is ass.

I hate its UI, so confusing

I only see redesigns and ai slop there.

Probably because it's a "grass is green" moment

AI is everywhere.

I started using it mainly for the check-in rewards and sometimes the interactive map (can use a diff one too tho) but overall, I don't engage with anything else

I just use it for code redemptions and check-ins. It's basically a community social media not something you can monitor and restrictions for especially for stuff that's always been there for any social media.
