Who should I go for on the upcoming banners?

Hi everyone! I’m a returning player who hasnt really played much since 2022 and I wanted to ask who would be best to pull on the next banners… I know everybody will say whoever I like best, but I have yet to complete the main questline to have met everybody, so I don’t necessarily have an emotional attachment or like anybody just yet... The only 5 stars I have are Xiao and Zhongli but to be honest Ive gotten a little bored using them & it’s no longer fun for me to play with them anymore. It doesnt help that I also struggle to clear enemies in newer areas, not to mention bosses. Now I always have to co op to clear newer domains for instance (especially since with anemo and geo I cannot really proc reactions… I know… bad decision on my part) and my friends arent always online. I know its beneficial to have lunar charged reactions for nod krai, so I was looking into pulling on this banner but I’ve also heard that the nod krai units are quite mediocre outside of nod krai, especially columbina. Should I just skip and wait for a rerun? Thanks in advance! :)

Ineffa definitely. She’s a great Sub-DPS with her appeal being her own personal damage output, if you’re lucky enough to pulls Columbina as well, pair them together for even more damage

Try to get both ineffa and columbina if you care about character strength.

Columbina is gonna get shilled yo high heaven and is pretty strong so id reccomend her and ineffa makes use of her very well.

Since you are returning if you farm you should get like 200 pulls so just hope and pray and pull on preference.

If you are working towards a flins team id reccomend ineffa and maybe columbina on a rerun. Muavika is strong as always but she really needs a pretty precise combo to be the best atm.

Muavika depends on how bad the powercreep is.

Ineffa is amazing, you don't need columbina or other nod krai characters for her to work.

Nod krai units mediocre? My brother in christ Ineffa is the most highly prized sub dps in the game. She isnt a sub dps though shes a fkn v12 engine

In fact if you do National she just becomes the DPS... she does 40% or higher dps on a team every. single. time. And is getting boosted again next patch with the new artefact domain in the map expansion.

I try to play Xiangling, My Ineffa does more damage...

Ineffa is cracked with Furina/Xilo/Suc/Bennet plus some rando "Main Dps"

Dont listen to them mostly is just for clicks and views, Ineffa is the chosen one.

personally I think tho go to route is Neuvillette. unlike ineffa who needs flins, columbina who needs ineffa or laum or Sinai who wants preferably columbina and c6 illuga (a new 4 star debuting besides her), Neuvillette can completely self sustain and doesn’t require certain characters to function. sure he appreciate Furina, especially at c1 but he doesn’t need her at all. while you may not have an emotional attachment to any characters at this stage I would definitely recommend trying to gage playstyles atleast. Neuvillette preferably wants to be paired with 3 other elements at c0 and 2 at c1 to get his full stacks.

The game currently offers two options.

Either the lunar teams or the witch teams.

Columbina, Ineffa, and Zibai will be arriving in the next updates.

Zibai's banner will also include her BiS, and it will be fairly easy to build lunar teams.

Or, the Mondstadt characters have received buffs.

If you like these characters, avoid Columbina and get Varka in 6.4 and Nicole after.

i also had a 1 year break.. came back and throw half of my collected pulls into varesa without even checking whats coming next.. now i kinda regret it because columbina and ineffa looks like a great team, also i liked both characters in the story ( which took me around 50 hours to catch up.. )

but i think columbina makes no sense for me because i don't have any nod krai character, im still running my C6 nahida as main dps together with raiden as main team, but thats not really great for the high end content

but if columbina + ineffa doesn't require any constellation / signature weapon to be strong, then i could get both.. but usually C1 and C2 are pretty strong
