Hear me out guys, what if Dottore has/had eleazar and that’s why he was chased out of his hometown.

We know people with eleazar were treated badly and people thought it was spread through touch, so if Dottore had it that could explain why he was chased away.

Eleazar was seen as a divine punishment as well, so that could be another reason they chased him out.

The meaning of his name, Heretic also works seeing as trying to cure eleazar was seen as blasphemy due to it being a divine punishment

We also know he studied eleazar in the past because of its divine nature, but perhaps there were other reasons too?

Idk just a theory.

No, that’s probably why he was kicked out of the akademia, not why he got chased out of his hometown. Those were two separate events

I don't think that He would go to So many expeditions in dessert if He had it or He would atleast mention it in his notes that He wrote while He was stuck in Thoth's Temple.

Since the rainforrest lessens the effects of Elezar

So being in dessert for long periods of Time mind not be good

Unfortunately because of Eleazar being a side effect of Irminsul's corruption, it's pretty much impossible to "ease the symptoms" in any meaningful way. If he'd been infected we would have seen evidence of it right up until Nahida cleansed Irminsul.

Totally fine to have this as a headcanon tho if you want to! And I'm sure there'd be others interested in exploring the idea with you. But there's no evidence whatsoever to support the theory canonically. It's far, far more likely that he got run out of town for very similar reasons to why he was expelled from the Akademiya. The description of the artifact that tells you he was run out implies a connection to his interest in human experimentation

Nope he was experiment on people with Elazar and was quite successful in slowing it down, he himself has never shown any sign of having it.
