I am a somewhat new player and I wondering which 4 star to invite from witch's homework event. I do not have any of the 3. 5 stars that I have are Furina and Tighnari.
Both Sucrose and Fischl are great. I would probably pick Sucrose.

If you don't have a specific team in mind for them, I would hold off the choice if possible (is it possible? I never checked).
If you get sucrose, she is essentially complete at c0, c1 can help a bit occasionally, but eh.

Razor is not a character till C6 and even then he needs other C6 4* to perform well so as a new player just ignore.
Generally imo Fischl c0 = sucrose c0 (account dependant)>Fischl other cons>it doesn't matter.

Also just on rarity no 4 star is a guarentee unless it is.

Sucrose does fulfil the role she plays in the team she is good at c0 much better than Fischl at c0 at her respective teams. However, what if you don't have those teams? Therefore I wouldn't choose just yet.

Sucrose isn't locked into any team. Shes a forward EM exponent /driver and the best in the game at it because her field time is 1 second or in driving circumstance isnt as restrictive to say someone like Ifa is.
I think people dont understand giving 200 EM to 3 other characters is a huge deal
Theyve made so many copies of her but still shes number one

I have played since 4.4, and up till 6.0 I didn't have any team for sucrose.
Neuvi, arle (overload), chiori, Varesa, skirk... It just happened that up till flins I literally had no team for her.
Again, I know she is good, and when she is good, she is very important, however not all accounts need her.

Sucrose should be the first choice. She is a great buffer (EM, Res Shred and can buff ATK with Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers, a 3\* weapon you should probably have). That makes her valuable for many characters, especially for the current Nod Krai ones, who needs EM.
Fischl is a good choice, she is a strong off field DPS, but also generates a good amount of energy. Unlike Sucrose you can get her from Paimon's Bargains and she is available right now if you "need" her.
Razor at C0 is not worth it, get him naturally on banner with several constellations.

Sucrose is the highest value here, but you only need C0. So if you already have C0, Fischl is the next best choice and her constellations actually matter, but you can buy her twice a year from the starglitter shop (the selector is the only way to get Sucrose guaranteed).
Razor is alright but only at C6; he’s not going to be very useful before that and being a main DPS with no off field utility means he is more easily replaceable.
I think you are getting downvoted because this question has been asked a lot a probably belongs in the questions thread since it’s so common.
I agree with the majority. Sucrose fulfills her role the most out of the 3 options. And the other reason is that she has NEVER been available in the Paimon Shop, which is nuts for a 1.0 character. You can always grab either Fischl or Razor when you save up 34 starglitter and they are in the monthly Paimon Shop. 4 stars never have a guarantee and this is the only way to guarantee them.
Fischl is a highly valued character as well, so she should be picked up next.
Razor actually becomes a decent electro DPS at C6, but not until then, so since there is no guarantee for obtaining him other than this and Paimon Shop, it could take years before he gets there. I started in 1.1 and he’s still C5 for me… 😢
