As far as i know the 6.3 banner are phase 1, columbina and ineffa, and zibab and neuvillette
My question is should i go for columbina, because i hear that is op, but i don't understand how lunar reactions work and im afraid that is just hipe and she won't help me much or should i get neuvillette because i heard that he is an good dps (considering that my best dps is diluc)

Well she is more than just hype, but benefits a lot from another Nod-Krai Character. I would advise you to pull for who you like tbh. You are clearly early into the game and you shoudnt loose your mind about Meta so early on. In Terms of Value Neuviellete is great because he is as you said a better dps compared to your roster

Is there a character, current or upcoming that you're excited about? Playstyle-wise. I'd recommend choosing characters that you find fun to play. I'm assuming you don't have that many primogems. I'd actually wait 2 weeks and see how Varka plays in Beta; he should be coming out in version 6.4 (February) and is a modern 6.X DPS. Venti should work well with him.

Your strongest characters right now are Bennet, Xiangling, Fischl, Venti. And that can carry you through a lot of the content. I'd grab a copy of Xingqiu during Lantern Rite. He's an amazing 4-star and will give you the hydro application you're missing.

But to answer your question, either would improve your account, but you also don't need either.

Neuvilette is the easiest character to play but he's outdated now power-wise. I'd personally skip him.

Columbina is modern, but how she works is that she needs another Lunar Reaction character to get extremely strong damage. This means you're locked into the Lunar Reactions stuff and will want to pick up another Lunar character. It's a pricier path in terms of primogems. If you do have a lot of primogems saved up and end up going for Columbina, you'll want to get Ineffa or Lauma. I'd personally skip Columbina here, and if you want her, you can get her on her rerun, which should be \~4 patches later.

In terms of fate's i stay alright i suppose (52 non standard banners fate's) and to be fair the characters that im interested i don't think they will be coming back any time soon (cyno, flins unfortunately missed it, zhongli also miss, nefertiti, wriothesley and nevullete that's why i was thinking to skip columbina and get him)
