I’m so torn!

I have c1 Widsith Varesa and her c6 supports and lost my 50/50 for c2. I just got Varesa and it turns out I absolutely love her! I haven’t had so much fun playing a character besides Xiao and Chasca! I have enough to get her c2 but it will make it very tight for Columbia. I figure her c2 will carry her into the future and I really enjoy playing her.

I have Flins and Ineffa as well. I want to get the most out of that team too. I really like Columbina’s design, what she does for the Lunar DPS’s, and gives a little bit of exploration boost for Flins which is very big for me!

Do I get Varesa c2 now because who knows when she will rerun again and try my luck with Columbina? Do I hold off on Varesa and secure Columbina? This is literally hurting me inside! I need both my girls! It’s crushing me!!!! 😭😭😭

Personally i'd get varesa since columbina, being the stand in for the archon of 6.x, will most likely rerun before varesa.

At the same time, i'm sure flins/ineffa will be completely fine until the next columbina rerun, so it's not like you NEED columbina now.

if you plan to pass the stygian onslaught or possibly IT/Abyss, I would suggest columbina for sure. The chance that hoyo makes the mechanics all about the released characters is near 100% likely lol.

On the other end, you've found a character you realy love, and a c2 varessa really starts to shine extra. So for the sake of playability, i'd personally choose varessa

If he or she noted they don't care about SO on fearless/dire and i don't care about 8+ It or 36star abyss" then the choice would be obvious. Stick to varessa since she is a character you love.

I transformed the decision to less about aesthetics and more about game mechanics and the love of the game.

The op noted that they were stuck because of the design of columbina, my reply said 0 about pulling for her looks and only exclusively noted about end game playability since the op clearly enjoys playing varessa's style.

On the one hand, Columbina is guaranteed to rerun in a few patches contrary to Varesa who may wait much longer, so you could secure your C2 now and grab Bina at her rerun

On the other hand, you already have a C1 Varesa with her C6 supports, she is already extremely strong for the end game content. So go grab Bina now to help your Flins being a god tier dps too. Besides you said you like her, you don't know how the future will be, you could miss her rerun somehow.

Well I understand why you are torn... Sorry to not help you, it's difficult to choose for you after all.

More seriously, do you need character and team flexibility or vertical investment for your box, ask yourself this question if it matters for you of course (for example for high difficulty endgame)

I did it! Took me too hard pity, but she is way stronger! Soooooooooooo much fun!!! Hopefully, I can get Columbina, but honestly, not that worried. I think I can pull it off! The next time Varesa comes around, I will go for her weapon. Hopefully, it won’t be too long! I think it will happen! She is a loved character!!

From what you said I would go for the c2 of Varesa, you like her a lot, you want her to last a long time for you

Also the the thing you will probably hear mentioned a lot will be that her next rerun will likly take much longer than Columbinas first rerun

So I would advise for the C2 Varesa, good luck!

You can get columbina on her rerun she will rerun very soon get varesa as of now if you love her . And columbina takes nodkrai dps from strong to one of the strongest teams in the game .

I only have C0 Varesa on Kagura's, but I already have C6 Chevy, and C3 Iansan so I'm not pulling any more, but that's because I like her, my biggest love so far is C0R1 Chasca who I'm waiting to C2 next rerun... but I also really feel like I'll resonate with Varka and his sig if his overworld movement turns out to be good. Point being is, you like who you like. Go for them! Don't second guess pulling for your favorites. Second guess yourself when pulling for meta.

Besides, you could always just get an early C2 Varesa and then there's zero problems. Good luck!
