Some of the scales on his horns and tail are gone, allowing the bright and smooth inside to shine through. The red gems on his outfit now glow a warm orange and the heart-shaped gem on his chest no longer has the thorny cross in front of it.

He seems to be wearing thorn hairclip at the middle or is that a crown?

There are some lighting effects on his horns as well. The inside of his wings changed colors and has a lighting effect. And he has some more scales in his hair.

Personally I really like the small difference over the default one, it goes from great to even better, especially with the brighter touches on the gems and wings, as well as the horn/tail looking more released and individual.

The purple horns, the "unsealed" heart accessory and the scales on his fringe are obvious differences. His red gem accessories are also glowing on the skin.
