I think they went to sleep after the fight with Abyss-infected Nibelung, we're not quite sure what happened during that time. He could've kidnapped them while clashing with the HP.

It seems like Nibelung (or maybe the abyss???) seems to be able to telepathically impose their will on and command the dragons, or at least the seven sovereigns.

because po doesn't attack unless necessary as long as it doesn't interfere with dome. khanriah was using abyssal power in both crimson and eclipse era. nobody batted eye until eve of cataclysm (when khanrian under king irmin launched attack on The Seven).
